PERFORM increases South American soccer rights portfolio

Deal with Full Play cements sports media groups' position as a leading rights holder in Americas soccer
Monday 27th February 2012, London: Digital sports media group PERFORM, has today announced a deal with South American rights agency Full Play Group S.A. ("Full Play") that will see an additional 900 Southern American soccer matches appear across PERFORM's services every year.
The three and a half year deal initially covers the leading leagues in Bolivia, Ecuador, Uruguay, Paraguay and Peru and provides PERFORM with access to other Full Play managed sports rights in the Americas.
The agreement sees the content cleared for all of PERFORM's digital products and services on a worldwide basis (excluding Latin America and selected markets) and complements PERFORM's existing relationship with Full Play for CONMEBOL zone 2014 FIFA World Cup qualifying matches.
The latest Full Play deal takes PERFORM's portfolio of soccer from the Americas to over 1800 matches a year. Its rights also include Copa Libertadores, Copa Sudamericana and Copa do Brasil, the Brazilian, Chilean and Mexican leagues, MLS and all CONCACAF zone international federation friendly 2014 FIFA World Cup qualifying matches, as well as the Gillette Brazil World Tour.
