As per the other board, even more than the size of the order, the best part of this mini-breakthrough may well be the comprehensive support of a knowledgeable, long-term investor who is still very supportive of management and who has visited Duress and can speak to the significance of the production technology, then put his money where his endorsement is by agreeing a deal structure with NO COUPON on the cln, a strike price at a material premium (not so material anymore of course with the big bounce in the share price) and a lock-in. This whole restructuring was laid out in well-publicised strategic review back then in a comprehensive deck that is easily accessible on the BATM website with subsequent updates at major results periods providing additional colour. The simple bottom-line however is that management have long-ago identified to the market the businesses that are for sale and the 3 focused divisions that are to remain - essentially, Telcos, Medical/Ador and Cyber - and thus those businesses targeted for disposal have long-since been fully marked down in the accounts so that any sale proceeds will now flow straight through to cash with no impact on earnings. Meantime, the main reason that the share price is down here is that this dramatic strategic shift by the. company, meant to forcefully demonstrate Moti's clear break from the Zvi era, has been dramatically delayed by the war and the market has grown weary waiting. But there's absolutely no way that anyone who has followed this company even cursorily could possibly represent this process finally getting underway for real the way you have unless they have either not read a single thing on the company in 24 months, or are deeply dishonest.

This silent period has stretched on so long it must mean good news is coming especially considering the shares have also been de-listed and the company long since suspended compensation payments as well, so there's clearly no incentive for Fanning to withhold bad news, right? Of course right. Big refinancing deal that reflects the Group's hugely expanded asset base during the suspension period, and that will then establish San Leon as one of Nigeria's largest foreign independent oil and gas companies, could (dammit, will!) come any day.
