Its not a bargain when theirs an open offer between 15p and 18p. if you're paying anything over 18p you are over paying.

Also worth bearing in mind the Turkish currency has got destroyed over last year or so. Makes it significantly cheaper from a holiday spending money point of view, so no surprise that it has become popular this year.

True. I never touch my core holding, just occasionally dabble when there's short term opportunities like today.

When a stock drops 5% within day on nothing, 9 times out of 10 it recovers at least half of that in my experience. It's my ideal day trade setup.

Definitely money to be made today. This kind of price action is usually my key for a buy day trade, but unfortunately cash is tied up for a few days so can't have a dabble.

Fair point DC. I would have thought it obvious I was happily long TCG. I have no issue stating that. You will also note I make no spurious claims regarding TCGs pros or cons. I simply state I expect it will continue to rise, which is why I am long. Unlike many who comment on these boards Im happy to be open with my position, rather than hide behind a guise of lending a helping hand for other people to make their decisions.

Don't take things personally Tele. At no point have I made any comments in relation to your posts. You have obviously mis-read. All are entitled to their own opinions. As I stated earlier I actually like shorting, as when it turns it creates greater upside for investors on the long side. To be honest I have zero interest in your or indeed anyone's posts on these boards, just as you should have the zero view of mine. Everyone should always make their own decisions based on their own interpretation of available information. That interpretation differential is what creates opportunity.

In my experience there are 2 reasons someone posts such negative views on a day of good news. First, either they wanted to buy and missed the spike, and are therefore annoyed with their own indecision. Or secondly, they are short and are trying to talk it down in an attempt to get out at less of a loss. All from my own experience of course.

If its such a bad investment DC then you are obviously aren't invested in it. Which begs the question why are you posting on the board? A cynic would question any attempts to 'help improve other peoples knowledge'. No one posts on these boards without a vested interest.

They are not obligated to respond in any kind to speculation, it is not a legal requirement unless it is a formal approach.

And that's what makes us all investors. Timing it right and making money. I have no issue with anyone shorting it, all have our own views. Creates more upside on the breakouts.

As much as I would love a £1.50 bid, I think a more realistic approach would be in the 40-60p level. Bear in mind this is the level it was trading at only a few months ago at the back end of last year. However it's hard to predict where any takeover bid comes in as shown in recent bids on other companies. Undoubtedly there's upside. How much is anyone's guess.

No one on this board claims to be an expert. Also it is pretty transparent from your constant commenting on other companies such as DEB etc that you are trying to associate TCG with said companies. It's a pretty lame attempt at putting some element of doubt in peoples minds. Additionally I read from your comments you are absolutely short, as does anyone who can understand trading psychology. If you want to create doubt try not to be so transparent, as it just comes across as a little desperate I'm afraid. Anyway, good luck with your short. He who lives by the short and all that...

This is the perfect situation for a short squeeze. High short levels, multiple bidders for a takeover, and a price at low levels. This could easily double in a very short space of time.
