Correct me if I am wrong but I don’t think a stop loss guarantees you the price you set. In a rapidly falling market when the stop loss is triggered, your shares are sold at the highest price available. That may be considerably less than the price you set because of the rapid fall.

Let’s be honest SML is a share with high volatility and a huge daily range so it would be easy to get caught by a stop loss. Despite the daily volatility I believe that the overalls momentum and trajectory is upwards. I am rightly nervous with or without setting a stop loss and utmost vigilance is required.

I personally believe that the further drill results are likely to be positive due to the historical data that exists and the visuals on the drill cores already disclosed. But everybody needs to make their own decision.

Problem with technical indicators is that they are just that. They looking at mathematical probabilities from various indicators and trends, they do not take any account of expected news. They will not take account that we expecting an RNS on drill results for instance. So technical indicators maybe useful but need to be taken in context. I will not be setting a stop loss, but will be keeping a very careful eye on price movements myself. A stop loss would be a sitting duck waiting to be taken out.

Well what a good week. Price gone up nearly 40% and consolidated ready for the week ahead. Well done everyone for ignoring the noise from the derampers. It can be difficult sometimes to hold your nerve when there is volatility. I have gone in heavy on this and it is particularly worrying when you first buy in with the large spread that creates a paper loss immediately. It's paid off for me so far at least.

Looking forward to more rises next week. Don't panic if we don't get an update Monday it will be here soon enough. If we don't get the update next couple of days I expect the de-rampers will try to play on this.

A lot of after hours trades posted, most of which look to be buys.

Seems to be very low volume today. People are holding on to their shares and buyers are probably waiting for imminent drill results. Extremely happy with the consolidation at this level.

Message to de-rampers. What ever you are doing is not working. Give it up. Just buy some shares now. Saving a couple of % now is not going to help you, you will just miss out again. Look at the longer picture.

Nice strong start to the day. A nice base is forming before the next leg up which will happen when the next set of drilling results come out. You won’t be able to get in at this price for long.

Think Ralph and his dysfunctional l cronies don’t really understand the basic concepts of investing. i.e. Do research, weigh up the risks and invest in a company that you think has growth potential. Not to unrealistically think you can personally affect the share price by going on a message board and irritating people. With all their messing around they are loosing themselves money and missing an opportunity. SML is still very cheap, they will still make plenty by investing at this price. Not missed the boat yet. If the price dropped a small margin before they invested it will really make very little difference in the long term.

Make a choice Ralph or go away and put your money in a building society as suggested before. I know it’s hard to make a commitment but think you can do it.

Really nice to see the SP consolidate at this level. Shows real confidence going forward. Expect this to rise further on news.

The SP has risen multiples and I think it is consolidating at this level until confirmation of drill results or other news. This news is expected anytime now and you won't get the chance to buy in at this level once it does. Ralph you may have sold out too early but all is not lost, you could simply buy back in at this level and still make a lot of money. To think you personally can actually affect the SP with your pointless posting is really quite sad. If it did consolidate down a bit it would have nothing to you. Grab the opportunity now the SP won't be at this level for long.

Don't know why the Rab story is being dredged up again. If they were selling there would be another RNS. This is all just de-ramper noise.

De-ramper messages sometimes need to be addressed but don't repeat their strap line. They love to see the negative strap line repeated and dominating the board.

This has been going on a while now. Definitely some strange happening. Maybe my shares are still worth something.
