it was perceived attractive at nearly £1 just a few months ago. this is the predicament.

and as of several months ago, the mantra remains, this is going no where without ACTUAL orders.

so, when do we finally see orders, that is ALL that matters and all that is worth debating from the perspective of share price appreciation. i have not sold a single share as of yet, however many on here would be forgiven for thinking they might have been better of selling in the 90's and buying back down here, of course the issue is no one expected the price to be plumbing the depths at this time !!

still looking for above £6 by end of Year, had expected higher at the beginning of 2021, however as events have played out it would seem , failing a PE bid, which i do not wish to see , we will not see £8 target in 2021.

i am happy to await a £15, £20, £25 share price 2 years out to be honest.

would much rather sell for fair value than a POFV (pittance of fair value) !!!

you have watched your company be decimated over the past several months , from a market cap perspective, you are obviously not stupid enough to believe shareholders are pleased about this, we realise you are a government puppet at this time, however shareholders do deserve to be kept apprised in a timely manner.

the fall from £5.50 to under £4 post interims wasn't about the outlook.

agree though, as has always been the case with MCRO there is a catalyst for a rerating coming, however, as has always been the case with MCRO, its a choppy journey !!!

as "Valued at peanuts now. £1.4 billion and it has half that in cash alone.... so many parts to this company worth that by themselves....’ is both compelling and truthful to my mind.

read MattyBoy assessment again and come back with a reasoned argument against his sum of the parts statement.

now i understand both sides of the argument, most seasoned investors do, the debt situation is not ideal and Murdoch and delivery are two unrelated words... however , Microfocus is a sound company, not least for the reasons Mattyboy states, it has superb partners and its products are very much in demand, doesn't really sound like a "short" scenario to me, however you are of course entitled to your opinion.

LTH this is multiples of where we are now in a couple of Years, in my opinion, and my funds are firmly placed on that outcome.

we are finally in the month where the testing frenzy begins and ODX can finally RNS actual orders... ahem (hopefully), as the world opens up and world economies (not just UK) re-open , people go back to work, travel restarts etc... there has to be mass testing !!!

as said before, apart from my minor whinge about Murdoch, this is a fantastic investment moving forward from both a capital gain and Yield perspective, the market will need the merest of nudges that MCRO is solidly back on track and it will rerate very quickly
Microfocus is a fantastic play here, the analogy of steering the juggernaut is absolutely correct, lets await traction.
