Alecto Minerals PLC has announced it is to take over the mothballed Mowana copper mine in Botswana and bring it back on stream.
The vendor is PemMin Botswana, a controlled by Kevin Van Wouw a specialist mining contractor based in South Africa.
Mark Jones, Alecto’s chief executive, believes Mowana is a first-class copper mining project and represents an ideal opportunity to achieve a complete transformation of Alecto.

Its obvious somebody is shorting it.

Its bad enough thinking about what the next drill is going to do v current SP v director buys at 17.50+ without reading posts with a pretty poor understanding of how trades are displayed or how to read them.
there have been about 4/5 buys this morning, the rest sells. i know as i've been getting the same quotes to sell....as i said ive been worrying...the good part is they are offering a higher price than previous days, so?
and displays only show you whether a trade is higher or lower than the previous trade as an indicator..
For example, i did a trade this morning, it was a buy, but it was lower than the five previous trades, so it shows as a sell!!
and FFS i set my display colours as red/green/white, but sometimes i set them blue/red/green, what the **** !!
anyway, back to worrying.

I hope the fca do look into it if contacted.
i think Private Eye might also take a look if contacted.
Some public airing might help.

Funny how people interpret things differently.
I read it as...

we're in a big plane with lots of stuff onboard but are running out of fuel but have switched an engine
off and "extended the runway" (don't you just love it?) by not eating for a year.
Oh and we have some carrion following us.
But were hoping someone finds some fuel amongst the luggage soon.
