A totally moronic ruling that someone's job is the same as someone else's so bunch of ppl are compensated. This country is a lawless joke where money for nothing culture rules. Bodes badly for motor finance. Loading the judiciary with communists is a poor idea.

Sorry stp bs. The requirements are pretty easily met. It's weird yr on here claiming they are onerous when they aren't. Asimples who is hardly my best pal has outlined a very easy route.
RE: Lloyds Share price and prospects10 Dec 2024 12:05
Stp, he's not right. Anyone with a half decent pension pot can move to spain. There's just a bit of paperwork and a few tax issues to sort out. For anyone with a pension pot of a couple of million moving it to Spain would lo avoid iht in the UK. (I think)
RE: Lloyds Share price and prospects10 Dec 2024 11:56
So in reality the number of ppl who can't move to Spain due to Brexit is actually minimal. One of the many lies remain use as to the non existent benefits of EU membership. Ppl in poverty generally weren't moving to Spain anyway!
RE: Lloyds Share price and prospects10 Dec 2024 11:45
Cazar I would easily pass the income requirements to move to Spain for Spanish residency. As would anyone who has saved minimally for their retirement.
I really don't understand ppl who think this bank is divorced from politics. A bank only exists out of political grace to lend the sovereigns printed money and take deposits via a banking licence. If the government is overrun with commies banks tend not to thrive. We have seen the impact of capricious politics through ppi nonsense, now the politicians are repeating it with motor finance.
RE: Lloyds Share price and prospects10 Dec 2024 09:56
Maddaog Lloyds are effed because of their sole exposure to the UK where a Marxist government is dismantling the energy grid and forcing payment using their activist judges over the motor finance nonsense. Given the above Lloyds remains uninvestible in my book.
RE: USA gas imports 26% and rising10 Dec 2024 09:32
Chid I agree we shouldn't pay the feckless to breed but we should make it easier for the middle class to have children by transferring tax allowances to mothers etc. The problem we have is the feckless outbreed the hard working. I have 3 kids and they are my finest achievement so I'm naturally pro kids.
RE: USA gas imports 26% and rising10 Dec 2024 08:36
Dorfan I think the answer is gas, coal, fracking and nuclear. Which ever provides the cheapest electricity to the consumer. Rather than worrying about how much plant food (co2) eat one creates.
Ant yr heat pump is literally using electricity part of which is made from fracked US LNG. So yr against fracking here but use fracked gas to heat yr house?? Without the lng imports the lights would go out in the UK and you'd freeze to death. Yr against fracking here though because you've been told to be.
Ant wanting to make the poor poorer so he can delude himself he's saving mother earth from boiling in the Quaternary ice age, the coldest period in 250m years. Socialism has boiled down to making the poor poorer and colder.
Ant I'm living rent free in your head old chap. Bit of advise I know socialists can't do jokes but if you try make them funny otherwise you are in danger of sounding like a twerp. We all know you are so liberal that you'd want all Tory votes rounded up and imprisoned in Ur ideal commie world.
Subsidising ppl to make ruinously expensive unreliable electricity that destroys British manufacturing and sends jobs to China, well done our MPs. 👍👍👍 Oh the irony that the pretend "labour" party are for destroying employment in Britain.
