Co2 is presently only 0.04%, if it drops below .018% all life on earth dies as plants cannot photosynthesise below this level. By burning fossil fuels human are increasing atmospheric co2 and increasing the period multicellular life can survive on earth by 10s of millions of years. So we aren't the cancer we think, all animals have their purpose including us.
