Ant I guess for every person they save from fraudsters 10 are hugely inconvenienced. Banks can't win but a fraud team with a large net is probably the way to go.

Ant in this case I tip my hat to my bank who alerted me and blocked my bank account. No idea how they got my password it was reasonably secure. Problem was I used the same one for multiple accounts.

Hardup I'm afraid you'll get no change out of stp. He's lost it over Iran, he believes everyone is leaving Israel by dinghy. One can have their views on Israel being too aggressive but actually cheering for Iran is like cheerleading for the USSR.

They tried some large payments from my savings accounts to my current account, but the bank noticed when they tried to transfer large amounts from my CA. The worst thing is losing yr email address until that happens you don't know what a pain it is. Everything used yr email as security.

A chastening few days for me. Had my old email and bank accounts hacked by some fraudsters, were it not for my eagle eyed bank they'd have gotten away with it. I would advise ppl who don't take passwords seriously to take them more seriously. I was the person who only used 1 or two passwords for everything.
