It's time they put their money where their mouth is and decided to go ahead on their own without all this faffing about with talk about farm ins. If someone wants to join in, fine, if not fine. If they can't for any reason, be honest BPC.

No one actually knows what is happening now so there is no point in being positive and saying all is well or being negative and saying, 'the end is nigh'. The world is in tricky place as it has taken everything for granted for centuries , as if we own the place. The planet is showing us we don't.

Hi Shamina, good on you for taking the gamble. I am not sure if I will sell some pre spud or not. The upside is so enticing. I have read the presentation a few times and wish we had more on the well profile as the one on page 11 of the latest presentation is difficult to read (anyone know if there is a more legible version for simpletons like me?). It appears there are multiple targets and indeed it says, 'Multiple target horizons', but for the life of me I cannot read what they are from that profile.
It appears that the first of these could be around 1800m with a few more to go through until TD.
It could well be worth waiting for the drill to hit some of these targets before selling anything. I am thinking that although the well will take between 45-60 days, we could hear some positive news a long time before that. I am no expert but would like to hear the opinions of those who are.

Look at Pantheon as well. I had a few of those at 20p but sold on the way down from 180p wishing I had exited at the top but everyone was saying it would go to 200p. Anyway, I put my money into BPC paying about 1.1p! They spiked to 7p within a week and I sold at 6.7 ish as it had spiked on hot air of a farm in and nothing concrete. A few days later it was back down again.
This time is different though and I will sell my original stake here at some point leaving the rest in for the drill as I would quite like a return between 20p and 30p. We'll see.

Bahamas Petroleum

The company has announced a zero coupon, 2nd ranking unsecured £8m convertible bond of which 90% can be drawn down. Now call me old fashioned but didn’t it used to be drilling with equity and development with debt? They will be paying a divvi out of it next…Anyway give the company credit (some have) for finding the money wherever they can to get this hole drilled for once and for all.

The good thing is that I am meeting with the company today and I’m sure they will put me right on a number of things, not the least how well the farm-out discussions are going….

Yeah, did you see after the hurricane there were gangs of armed thugs looting, not the rich, but the poor! The place is a hideous mess. My stepfather bought some land on Grand Bahama in the 1960's, there were grand plans for a resort etc with holiday homes. Four plots to be precise. I was going to have a look at them a couple of years ago but didn't feel like being robbed, stabbed, shot at or just plain mugged. The wealthy stick to safe places like private islands and gated estates with armed guards. A bit like Jamaica where you need the army on the street to protect silly tourists who have wandered away from their secure hotels.
Hopefully, the oil will enable the government to stop these thugs and murderers even if they do it like Duterte by just shootings them so the poor Bahamians can just live safely and securely.
