The Buffalo field has an independently certified mid case recoverable volume estimate of 34 million barrels (gross, 2C contingent resource) and the B-10 well is considered by RISC Advisory to have an 85% probability of confirming a sanctionable development project based on the minimum economic field size.

Knots are the speed through the water, kph is speed over ground and due to tides and currents do not necessarily equate. For instance, if you are steaming ahead at 6 knots with against a current of 4 knots you are only going forward over the seabed at 2 knots. This is why places such as the Menai Straits that look so picturesque and easy to navigate are so dangerous as the tide can run at 5 knots so unless you are doing over 9kph you may find yourself going backwards. And this is without taking the wind into consideration.

Does it matter what the rig is doing as I am certain there will be an RNS to keep us informed regarding rig movement and spud. And if the sp is pumped up before then it will only come back down when people sell at spud which seems to happen these days. Call me cynical but investing seems to have changed and people don't have the patience to wait very long. Either that or do not like the risk. It's a pity but it is a fact. Hence, the current sp, as soon as it goes up a small amount and people have a small profit they take it.

Hi Bluerover, I liked the word 'prolific' as well to describe the new lease they signed in the summer. This is really going places and all paid for by money from existing non operated assets. And a CPR on the way which I guess will be once flow tests have finished and they can then work out how much oil can be retrieved. And a shallower well to target the layers above Cane Creek. Superb, this could really put a rocket under the sp! It is making this company a much longer term hold for me as I can see the sp going in the £ + region as work progresses and investors cotton on to what they are doing.

All is coming together really well and having a new CPR, 'in the next month or two' is excellent news, he sounds very positive. The three new wells for next year paid for by income from non operated assets. The new Cane Creek Field has already produced so should be a great drill to look forward to. Wow, so much to come.

Thebhoys. Read the RNS again as it means a lot more than that, in fact, I don't think they mention selling anywhere in the RNS and facts are always better than guesswork. The detail is in this part:

"A unit agreement is for oil and gas exploration, development and production for separately owned leases and interests within a set boundary. The entire unit area is operated as a single entity, without regard to lease boundaries, and allows for the maximum recovery of production from the reservoir. Costs are reduced because the reservoir can be produced by utilising the most efficient spacing pattern, separate tank batteries are not necessary, and there is no requirement to drill unnecessary offset wells. The objective of unitisation is to provide for the unified development and operation of an entire geologic prospect or producing reservoir so that exploration, drilling, and production can proceed in the most efficient and economical manner by one operator."

Always good to see some interest but this is still playing catch-up at the moment. Can't see why this will not go to 1.5p this year as the upside on drilling is huge.

Supply and demand, it's as simple as that. Without it there can be no market.
People always seem to blame the market makers if a share goes down but never if it goes up, why would that be?
