If this is true I feel sick that the Financial system is as corrupt as this and that people are happy to make a living by lying to people, until they are sacked that is, for wanting more money for continuing to lie and cheat to us all.

Hamish McDougall is calling a shop stewards meeting at 12.00 today to propose Industrial Action because CK has spent all the annual profits on a 4" deep Axminster Carpet, and now it's so thick his office door won't shut.

The Carpenters are coming in later this afternoon to lift and refit the door. More Cost.

Hamish only wanted the lads and lassies on the shop floor to have some Lino but now they also want a carpet, otherwise they will be walking out and and going fishing. All of them, as they are all members of the Omega Dia Fishing Club. It's a mandatory membership when you are employed there as Colin likes fishing and is also the Skipper of the company boat which he takes out at weekend.

Hope this gets resolved quick because when the Purchase Order arrives it will be posted through Colin's letter box door, but because the door has been lifted it means that Jock McTavish the friendly, but very short postman, cannot reach up to drop it through the letter box.

Fortunately there is a back up plan, Jock will bring his mate Big Jimmy to lift him up when he has to post anything into Colin's letter box.

Unfortunately Big Jimmy, is only big around his belly, not in height so the PO remains in Jock's bag until he can see Colin walking to his Tesla on the car park at the end of day where it will handed to him.
(note to Jock..remember to take a pen with you as Colin has to sign for it)

Maybe the Government wouldn't award the contract until we bought a carpet.

That explains the 9 months delay as carpets are in short supply..........at least I can relax now
