Thanks for the post. Looking good.
Hoping for some gains tomorrow for a chilled weekend for all.
I'm only up by 3.2%, but I'm ecstatic. I'm addicted to checking the value!
I was in the same situation, but just had 5k to play with. But I split this between capita and lloyds, which in hindsight was a poor decision.
I'm hoping to be able to forget about this and stay for as long as possible. I've found everyone's comments very useful.
Over the last few months I was starting to regret my decision to buy, I'm in at around 32 and 48, so I'm not in the clear yet. I'm in this for the long term.
7243 units, 31.7% down now, I'm very nervous.
Do you buy this many to make a quick profit, or do you hold out for a longer investment?
So pleased that this finished above 30, if it can stay above 48 going forward I would be ecstatic.
Nothing, it was purely about a restructure for ESS pre sale.
Cards being held close to chest. 500m still the asking price, hard to believe. Sounds like something will happen in the next six weeks.
ESS has been running through lots of demos to interested parties.
There is a transformation update for all staff today. Might be to say that it's on or off target.
I'm hoping that this rise could be significant. The last batch I bought was at 48, very anxious times for me.
Don't worry about it too much, I bought in at a similar price and then again at 48. Roughly down on capita at about 25%.
No chance, nothing has moved forward in possive direction since last week.
They've run out of boards.
It was, and I remember nearly £12. Falled ever since. I don't think anyone could have done anything better.
Tight ship, I find that hard to swollow. Another career ceo that didn't give a damn about staff, they were just a number. By the time he left Capita's reputation was down the pan. Look at all the problems, TFL, criminal records bureau. The process of closing down business units has already started long before he left. He certainly didn't leave the business in a better condition than when he took over.
Jon Lewis was really the first chief that gained massive respect from staff. Up until then staff turnover was huge and Capita let a lot of brilliant people go when they should have been nurtured.
Not senior (board) directly.
Yes, I agree, but someone will have to come along and offer an realistic offer.
Your friend must be having internal memos saying that the whole group will not be sold. ESS is the only part that will definetly sold off.
Internal speculation is massive right now.
