Think Market scared that UAE will leave OPEC and start Oil price war....but IMHO...it'll never happen as they want to get the best price for Barrels of oil...and a price war doesn't work in their favour.

Bloomberg talking about WTI possibly hitting 3 figures, at some point I see a short squeeze coming as shorters will have to buy shares... if this Brent and WTI rise concludes!

As DK said... UAE ain't happy with output, and if they can't come to a decision today... output stays where it is, which means crude oil/brent will jump up!

Have to remember that on U.S opening... will be trading going on. People who hedged on PoO at a low will be selling and will take a lil time to settle and climb to resume in the Oil market..new buyers come in hedging on PoO being way higher soon..it's business! (shrugs)

Hopefully when the U.S trade day starts at 2.30pm... PoO will move even higher, then we can properly add some salt, pepper and onion to the pan and saute the shorters properly! Anyone know a good shorter sauce to go with shorters medium rare?

Just heard on Bloomberg, OPEC+ want to hike 400k BoPD....AND rather than just do this from Aug to December.. They want to do this until the END of 2022!! Wow, If all passes...PoO will spike!

Lol... Well they want higher PoO, it's the Ruskies that wana increase BoPD... and IIRC it's the Saudis that have overriding decision so I expect none or little hike in output. With Iran buggered due to sanctions, they also want a higher PoO for whatever little amount they can offer.

Anywhoo, in other news, ( ...and conversely ignoring the eejots), personally I believe the Delta virus deaths and the fact that it's running a lil wild isn't helping things... The shorts aren't making it easier, but they're always gona be around through any crack of weakness. So what do I take from all this?.... pure patience, because there's nowt I can do to influence the sp here. As soon as it's made concrete by B.J that we're definitively coming out of full lock-down in July, then I believe this will really turn around and shorts will reduce as confidence returns... BUT this decision will be made closer to July the 19th, (I mean like days) ...in not only this stock, but much of the retail and leisure sector. Patience boys/girls.. pure patience.
