(b) Offtake payment on schedule

The rest the market can wait for. This is the way the market is unfortunately... Naturally will accrue more if this falls below 30p. This seller not helping matters. I'm wondering if AW is aware of the seller and not updating market for this reason, although I'd assume that would be a tad wrong if not against rules, but Nomad will advise him I'm sure.

Nice progress RNS from CVN... reckon we'll see a spike in the sp when they hit oil column as these lil tit-bits of information sometimes get leaked! 800M+ so far...so we're looking at circa another 2.5 weeks I reckon.

@DPYC, Investors moving to invest elsewhere as we now have a 3-4 week time frame. Watch as we get closer to drill results, (expected/approximate), everyone will move back in. Some, (myself included), not bothered with those shenanigans and will stay put or increase holdings at others expense, (sellers)... as there will be less shares available as we get closer to results...so a few will be left out!

In other news it's clear who's trading this and sold up... It's just too blatantly obvious tbh.

Tuesday is normal trading day I believe

Tbh, you can get a lot of inferences from this website whilst spending a few hours on the weekend researching, (as I myself do), Looking at, as SI says, CoS, geography of drill, (in the case of 'Oil'), research the B.o.D, (their history), company's finances, looking through RNS's... and so on! All for free, (yay!)

At the end of the day..it's exactly what people like 'Oil man Jim' and others are doing and just passing the info to you for a buck! As SI says, the blogs are a good place to start if things are new to you and you're just interested in the end goal.

Everyone has there own plan, I guess do what works for you. I myself used to read what OMJ used to put out when the service was free, (a few years ago), and on some investments I didn't see eye to eye with him. When he started charging for the service I never saw the point in reading info I could ascertain for myself. I have the time to do the research myself, but can respect that others may not, as they could be contending with day time jobs, and would like to spend time on the weekends with the family... there's nowt wrong with that!

I guess in retrospect, there's no right or wrong to this, just do what you're comfortable with, but heed from mistakes, applying the wisdom moving foreword.

Don't trust personal blogs as it's impossible to maintain a fair analysis from their point of view. They spin a bright light on investments that they're already invested in, and not only that, they'll only put a spin on it AFTER they've piled in, which leaves you, at the most as the 2nd party investor alongside all those who follow him/her. They, (the bloggers), are betting on the fact they've built up a reputation enough to get the share price high enough for them to de-risk and get a free run... leaving tail-enders holding the 'proverbial baby', until the entity involved comes to fruition after a consolidation, if it ever does!

I'm not saying they, (or any of them), are all bad or even bad at all, by no means...but there is an agenda. That includes those that use social media as individuals on a smaller scale such as twitter, (including myself). In my case I generally like to push just the facts to investors looking for a decent investment or just like minded individuals... and I generally will de-risk on milestones rather than when the sp rises/spikes. My personal research gives me the confidence to believe that the company is going places. This way I have no-one else to blame and the risk is minimised as much as possible and left to the elements of the company i'm invested in to rise on its own merit.

Basically you won't meet a blogger who's not already pre-invested to a large degree... and tbvh, NOTHING beats doing your own research as there simply is NO excuse for not being able to do so!

Happy to hold here and wait for drill results.. but can see some people derisking on this news and each to their own I guess. Traders will be gone soon and longer termers move back in!

P.s, When I said "No licences to acquire", what I meant was, all necessary required ones are already in place.

@Parkboy, with each day the seller dries out a little, and the selling seems to be well managed with investors poised to jump in at below the 31p mark +/- .05p, higher lows and all that jazz as we move into the future. You have to remember that the business is now bringing in revenue as of January, and there are no II's or early large stakers who can sell for the first 12 months, (Hard Lock-In).

Also it's beneficial to remember that this is still in newsflow momentum and production quality/quantity still to drop alongside ancillary equipment purchase, Wash-plant/rail status and other acquisitions that cash in the bank from raise will be used for.

I wouldn't advise anyone when to purchase shares, or in fact when to sell, but you need to weigh-up the pro's and cons at this stage of the BEN life-cycle.. Either-way, Coggs will happily welcome you to becoming a BENder. LMOA

The 20p days, IMPO, are gone mate, we have no licence to acquire and have off-take agreement, (plus expansion on that).... So it's all go go go IMO... Good Luck!

Hi Cap, yeh unfortunately this period is a bit of a lull period as people are still really on holidays, (in general), until the 4th of Jan. I'd prefer an update to rather come after that tbh.

January should be pretty exciting for news flow... Update on mining and payment! All to look forward to!

Don't think that the B.o.D are worried about the timing of the RNS, or when the spud has happened, (within reason), they're basically looking at the Market Cap of the company when the asset is proved. The only people interested parties in the sp being higher on spud are PI's looking to cash-out on the rise, or those who are trading it. All in my personal view of course!

Fortunately I'm aligned with the B.o.D on this thought... and will wait for the NAV being under the company's belt, so to speak.

I use Interactive Investor, (ii), and apart from the odd occasion of a new listing not being available for a short period, I find it pretty good. I also from time to time use Hargeaves & Lansdowne, but I've had a lot of issues with them, in fact just last week!

Nope Ozzies also have same hols as us... so first trading after xmas is also tomorrow, albeit a few hours ahead of us!

@AJ, IIRC, the drill will be relatively easy as one of the lesser density stones to drill, this however entails other problem such as sand debris and management of such as it can tend to hinder the permeability of the surrounding area. Saying that, tech has come a long way in drilling into sandstone and managing the drill with different linings and so on. I envisage we'll have drill to TD ahead of schedule as long as drill is well managed... and the crew of the 107 seems to know their manure!

I would assume Jadestone drill has a similar geology/strata as it's not far, (haven't personally looked into it), and drill went smoothly and the issue they had was with a buggered well head tree, and nowt to do with the actual drill!

(Actually, I'll have a look into their drill to see what geology it entailed)

On the assumption they spudded on Xmas or Boxing day... we've prob already drilled 150M+, but that might be expecting too much, (taking into consideration of holidays/time off), we'll see I guess!

Hopefully spud went without incident... btw Brent heading towards 80... 80 could be breached when U.S opens today!
