Jeez, think of countries like India where cases of early infection in new-borns are even higher! The scope is absolutely staggeringly massive imo. Like I said, there's no competition and we're leaders in this field and way ahead!
A discount for NHS UK for advanced funding to secure devices in hospitals asap is a distinct possibility. The larger revenue platform would be more global health services, especially in the US. Again FDA accelerated clearance is fundamentally possible for the same reasons above!
Most of the research has already been done thru UoM and GDR, it's an non-invasive cheek swab and test for end patient care.
In my mind and imho, there is no doubt that this test will become the standard soon in NHS hospitals. The ability to cut times of results from a few weeks to a matter of minutes is to big of gap for the NHS to ignore, NICE see's this and hence the recommendation. The other mitigating factor is the end patient which are new-borns and NHS will always exploit in favour of the health in the young.. and you can't get younger than this.
It's a possibility the contracts maybe advanced in light of the situation above and this may ease funding pressure. I'm not saying it is, but a distinct possibility and all in my opinion.
Not to mention the GDR test, is a simple cheek swab, and at the most sent to another room where the test apparatus sits, or even better, (for GDR), if each ward houses it's own tester as it's small enough. Prior test would take weeks because they have to be sent to a different dept. culture tested and wait.
There is no comparison on Covid products, with this product/test. With regards to Covid/Pandemic: It's an impossible compete in a market where nearly EVERY god damn company is developing the same thing! THAT is why the GDR Covid product/test was not viable. Firstly it was 100% effective but too expensive, and secondly the Govt./Politicians were lining theirs and all their mates pockets seeking cheaper useless alternatives.
This product does not have just UK scope, but it has Global scope and there's NO other test, quicker, (26 minutes as opposed to 2 weeks), than the GDR test. THERE is the market... it's a different story if we had competition...but we don't!
Just a waiting game here tbh, all will hopefully come good! The upside here is potentially massive imo.
Success on the Covid platforms was never gona be a success, hence why I pulled out of GDR close to highs. There was too much competition on that front and let's be honest, albeit a first-class detection system.. it was expensive.. another reason Govt. swayed cheap overseas products.
This is entirely different product
It is him. Excellent work Mr. Budd, definitive milestone achieved for and in medical technology using your patented tech! You're about to make millions of parents happy they don't to go through the nightmare of their child losing their hearing irreversibly lost through the use of a common antibiotic, before their lives have even begun!
You've just changed the fortunes for your company and proved your gene tech! Congrats
Thanks...didn't interpret properly!
at 48p?.. or am I reading that wrong?
7 working days people....7 days... and I reckon they'll approve this test with no probs. I would think differently if another company competing for this test, but we're using patented tech...ONLY test in the world and NHS needs it!
