Yes I get that but if you scroll down through there Twitter posts they have done previous study’s for GDR , which I presume was for CTDA approval process . Not sure why they would need to do a similar one so soon after ?

What’s the reason behind it , as we have only just finished the last one which was for the CTDA approval ? Seems odd how it seems the same study ?

Personally think LFTs will be like the “fuel shortage “ we had last year , short lived ! the GDR tester is unique, it’s one of the fastest on the market, extremely accurate and portable symptoms or no symptoms ! Many settings it can be used for testing and we have the whole of the EU to sell to 27 countries! potential partners and company’s have had them on trial and test for over 5 weeks , so many will have been waiting for the sign off of the CE marking and then hopefully some deals will be done. All it needs is one nice contract to start the ball rolling . The opportunities are endless for where the tester could be used ! Sports teams / leagues , cruise ships , army / military, travel , doctors/ hospitals , factories and workplaces which cannot have or afford a production line to stop.

Surly if you have done the slightest bit of research on GDR you will no how the test works and the “special machine “ part

I’m sure it’s not just a matter or ringing up your local “man with a van “ and asking them to collect it on the govs behalf ! It would need decommissioning properly which I guess would take a few weeks minimum thats without taking into account availability of specialist company to do so. And then where would they want it taken to and stored ?
Would make no sense to me at this stage for them to come and remove it
My hope is the gov will want a percentage of what omega generate from using the machines if and when that happens ??

the gov have asked ODX how they “propose” to repay the money back , they HAVE NOT DEMANDED or asked for it back in one full payment. The ball is now in odxs court and all depends how they go about this , if played rite we may well come out in a better position than what is been made out . Key point is odx have stated they are legally confident they don’t need to repay it . They may ask fo the gov to wait until approvals so they can then use the machines and pay a percentage per test back to the gov . So many scenarios may play out here but I believe odx are in a good position to come out on top . The SP has reacted as if the 2.5m will be paid back and paid back ASAP in full which reading the rns correctly it clearly does not state that . Good luck all it’s been one hell of a rollercoaster ride which isn’t about to stop !

You fail to mention the discussions regarding extending ODXs overdraft facility (which they haven’t used yet ) 2m currently I believe with discussions ongoing to take it to 6/8m

And it’s clear at the moment they are not just going to hand back 2.5m , I’m sure the legal advise they have received regarding the contract is from a very well established law firm who know what they are talking about. I would agree if it was just colin saying they don’t have to pay it back I would take with a pinch of salt .

Twitcher , at the moment I would rather believe the legal advice omega have received about the contract , unless you are a contract lawyer specialist

How can they be using ODX test ?

So the recent update regarding test before departing to the uk , does this mean PCR Test will be scrapped or continue and will they ditch the PCR in 2 weeks and replace it with LFT , I can’t see them expecting people to test either side of a flight ?

Im presuming they want to detect the pacific omicron strain hence why using PCR for now so they can monitor how many cases ect
