Good to see a positive market response here - whatever one's position, delivery of a large brownfield project on time and budget with early production results as prognosed (or better) is a great result - especially for a beleaguered company. Undoubtedly delivery here was the most important step for Tullow that is wholly within the licensee's control. A bit of upward movement on the oil price could lead to some good numbers here.

Too waxy, too dispersed, too high well count needed, too much capex to develop... lots of oil but incredibly challenging economics - this isn't ideology but maths.

Comparison with KE is an interesting one. Two factors missing from the chat so far - Tullow own more TEN which is arguably more liability rather than value, and KE look overvalued.
