Yes, the KIlwani development licence is on the back burner for now, it will be interesting to see what Orca's 3D seismic reveals over KN-1 and the K-south structures. They should have started the 3d by now and if not it shouldn't be long.

That's was wrong, ara 50% share of ruvuma would give them pre-emption rights to 66.6% of Scir 25% aprox 16.5%

my understanding is, the (pre-emption rights) of ARA who holds 50% of the license, gives them a claim to 50% of SCIR 25% share, giving them a further 12.5 % of the license, but of course it needs the Gov support, where as the Gov/TPDC statutory rights allows them to claim SCIR whole 25% share. considering TPDC 15% back-in rights, I would imaging that ARA and TPDC are working together to achieve a best mutual outcome. And given ARA/Zubair's dominating influence over AEX board, It wouldn't surprise me if they were told to to step aside on this one. anyway all is good. : )

Yes and as CP says, if aex take up their 6.8%, it could then go towards tpdc (back in ) shares. Which I think would be aex handing over 3.75% leaving Aminex to fund just 3%.. and it would stop tpdc acquiring any of our 25% that we have all the funding for.

Highlandmatt, if I'm right aminix share of scir 25% would be about 6.8% so would only need to find the funding for that. And with alot of it not being paid until production, it doesn't sound.to big a risk to me.
