I guess you ment the Ntorya ffd Crusty, yes thats what I was trying to convey, the Likonde Jurassic fairway is large and extends across the Ntorya discovery, so yes other opportunities during NT development or at some stage to explore the Jurassic below.

Yes agree, they might have abandoned the deeper Jurassic targets for the CH-1 well (on this occasion), for the sake of prioritising and optimising the best Cratasous Ntorya target that will be produced from. So really I'm not surprised the Jurassic is not a priority with he CH-1 well, but I would be extremely surprised if they didn't revisit the Jurassic potential when appropriate.

What they have seen already of the 3D and the way ARA/TPDC are moving the project forward, they know they're already sat on an elephant, even before they venture to find the Jurassic monster.

Max, it was a good job you weren't in charge back in the day, when they were looking for oil in the North Sea. There were several wells drilled before they fou d it.

And it would be alot quicker to target and drill CH-1 into a Cratasous target without having to line up a Jurassic target as well, and probably not having to use such a powerful drilling rig ?

yes, could be, though i think with the TPDC the priority is to get more gas to market ASAP.

Crusty, because the Ruvuma PSA licence has 2 exploration (commitment) wells that will need to be drilled, and considering the TPDC regarded the deeper Jurassic target as (exploration) thus fulfilling one of them, then it seems logical to conclude, if the exploration Jurassic is not drilled on this occasion, then they will have to at some stage.

Yes I think that's right, it's called the Zubair Oil field for whatever reason, but it would seem the Zubair we know have no interest in it.
