Hi, The best profit I have taken in the last couple of months was a sale at 0808 and buy back at 1120 on the same day then a final sale at 1629.

The irrational swing is my best friend. Just look at today's trade history, around £800 swing between 0815 and 1615 on my holding of 10k shares.

You can't always get the timing correct but if you get it right at least 6 or 7 out of 10, it provides a steady income stream.

CWR is the most profitable stock in my modest portfolio. Whilst steadily declining in value over the last couple of years, within the overall decline it goes up and down like a yo-yo. I have traded my holding of 10k shares regularly, looking only for a swing of 3.5% to 5% either way. Starting each day at 0800 when the market opens, sometimes I'm in and out within a few hours, sometimes one has to wait a few days, even occasionally weeks, but the swing always arrives if one is patient, not too greedy and prepared to take the odd nail biting short term paper loss along the way.
