RE: Issue and Transfer of Mining Licence Suspended in Mali19 Jun 2023 14:22
Jonjo/johnny/other morons - My own opinion here is that the delay is probably due to the mining authority undergoing the review process of the Change Notification document that Kodal were slow to draft.
The last update on this was in the 3rd of April RNS from what I can see - "In the interim, Kodal's engineering team have continued to make progress on critical project development activities in readiness for receipt of project funding. Detailed design of the DMS modules is nearing completion and importantly, our Change Notification for the Ngoualana DMS plant and infrastructure has been drafted and is undergoing legal review prior to formal submission to the relevant Mali administrations."
These things take time but hopefully this has been submitted by now. Nearly every RNS since then reiterates the fact that Kodal continue to work closely with Hainan on engineering aspects in anticipation of the deal been completed. This doesn't sound like the work of a mining giant who are unsure about their future with Kodal - I'm personally quite comfortable with my investment here, but thank you for your much valued input.
