Additionally the size of the buys we have seen going through (the 7mill springs to mind) implies that someone thinks things are certainly getting close to shifting around..

I think a few have mentioned on here how important optionality is .. maybe the discussions in progress were deemed by PG to be immensely strengthened by displaying the intention to plough on with Trinidad .. a kind of if you mess us around we will have the means to progress ourselves regardless ….

That “chunk of equity” wasn’t sold for vague reasons — it was explicitly sold to fund:

near-term drilling + development (especially Snowcap-3) + keeping the company running + optional new asset acquisitions

Oily, an investment such as this is all about future possibilities that’s the point lol … this not a big blue chip divvy payer where you can compare performance and metrics going back decades .. this is all about catalysts.. what a naive thing to say .. some of my best investment returns have come after sitting on a substantial drawdown for a period. The prospects here are still outstanding

Price action is squaring up well at this level. Think the low 3’s are going to be a strong basing out area. Volume is really good today too with the price slowly creeping up on trading view. After the very positive update from Paul and the indication for the divestment strategy moving forward, you would have to be a madman to short this company at this point in time as I suspect some of our more vocal deluded commentators may be attempting. Trinidad is in a constant state of incremental strengthening, Ireland as ever will now be given the no nonsense approach from PRD with the legalities leaning heavily in our favour and Morocco albeit with some setbacks is at fabulous point in its journey with the vast data collected. As our own Keith oz pointed out the other day in a superbly researched manner, the value and sale of assets in our sector can happen at any point in the exploration cycle and commonly does occur after successful delineation.

To sum up, even with the most cautious optimism, PRD appears to be a much stronger position than the noise on this forum try’s to depict. I believe mr Griffiths is one cunning and savvy fox..
