I think it would be prudent of you to sell your non existent shares now and not wait till September, then you could disappear into the great yonder and do whatever you want for the rest of your days, wishful thinking I know but it would truly do us all a favour ..

Pardon my naivety, but after drilling mou 1 and realising we were dealing with fine grained unconsolidated sands, would it not have been prudent to apply techniques limiting mud ingress and less invasive drilling mud from that point onwards.. from reading around formation damage is pretty much to be expected in high pressure shallow fine sands .. so why not do everything possible from the start to alleviate any issues .. in regards to drilling as close as possible to on balance I’m assuming this is much easier once a section has been drilled and pressures are known so can be planned for before as opposed to adjusting on the fly .. but would appreciate so input from more knowledgable and experienced posters in this ..

Disappointing news, but far from over .. looking at this from a pragmatic point of view, does anyone on here have knowledge or real world experience relating to the design alterations predator will likely employ for the mou 6 well design that is specific to the issues we have encountered .. or is there a fairly universal approach to well design when problems such as these occur ?

Thanks for the explanation Keith, makes sense .. reading around it does seem as long as twin casing perforation is specifically planned for and with the advancements on hand to shaped charge perforation techniques, any outfit worth its salt has a very good chance of getting through both casing layers, so let’s see ..

Certainly not disputing the abnormally high pressures we have in this interval, but does anyone have any framing for whether this interval could have formation damage from needing to be drilled over balanced to counter the high pressures. How does the twin casing and the potential formation damage factor into success here even with the larger perforating guns ?? .. not a slant by any means to the company, I am very glad they are testing this interval and going about it in the way they are with top outfits involved .. have held for a long time with more shares than ever before .. but would keenly appreciate some insight from anyone with previous experience of testing situation similar to this one .. pros and cons, etc we have going for us ..

I should add it is encouraging that pred have multiple options in mou 3 to perforate and/ or test previously perforated horizons backed up by remediating techniques on hand through itafluids to give it the best shot possible.. also great to see via the placing mou 1&4 moving rapidly to test ready conditions ..

Also why is this article seemingly the first place we hear of any indicative summary to whether the well was successful or not ? Is it not a legal requirement to state the above quote in an RNS ?

Not trying to stir the pot, just a frustrated long term holder annoyed at seeing media outlets seeming to get more info atm than investors .. I note they do state no gas (but do say not explicitly announced) but there is no mention of oil so that’s interesting .. and the comments on Afriquia Gaz is encouraging too ..
