The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
As things finally appear to be progressing I will be judging T.C. on what he will eventually achieve not how long it has taken him.
Have held my shares since 2010 so the saying " patience will be rewarded" looks like it is going to apply in P.M.G.'s case.
The sleeping giant is stirring!

We are all anxiously / excitedly awaiting news re trial results, activ 2, eua etc.
However although things are taking longer than expected I think that we must appreciate that if sng has indeed developed a wonder drug, a game changer, the go to therapy for Covid and a host of other viruses then before you shout it from the rooftops the data will have to be checked, double checked and probably checked again so no doubts can exist.
If as R.M. stated that data is king, then long may that data reign over us.
Pungent discharge, looks like you are in need of urgent medical attention too !!
Daddy, at school today we were talking about medicines and treatments that were really important for the whole world.
Were you alive when pencil in was discovered ?
You mean penicillin son, no that was many years ago.
Were you alive when singaron was discovered?
I think you mean synairgen and yes I was around when that became available around the world.
Teacher said people made lots of money , did you Daddy?
Yes son I put money into the company and got lots more back.
Is that why we live in a nice house and Mummy gives lots of money to poor people and sick animals?
Yes son, we were very lucky we chose that company to put our money into.
Will I get some money as well?
Yes son we put some in your ISA.
Does that mean it will be frozen?
No not icer but ISA, a special account for children like you.
Teacher said that Mr. Short got burnt. Was there a fire at the factotry?
No son it just refers to someone who thinks that the company will not succeed and does silly things with his money. I will explain it all to you when you are a little older.
Daddy, is singaron, sorry synairgen still going?
No son it was bought out by big pharma.
Like Tom the big farmer down the lane?
No son.
Pharma is short for Pharmaceutical which are companies that make lots of drugs and medicines.
Thankyou Daddy and thankyou synairgen.
Night Night
Could it be that Craig unexpectedly, was forced to increase the company's cash holding in order to secure a deal of some description .
Monday's A.G.M. should shed some light but overall I remain optimistic about the reasons.
An investor in ECR suffered a bad accident and went into a coma.
After 3years he started to come round and with his family around him his wife said " darling you have been in a coma for 3 years is there anything you want to say?
Yes he replied, have the assay results been published yet?
I cannot understand why some investors jump ship on the basis of a drop in s.p. or on some irrational and unsubstantiated comments by anonymous de rampers when there has been no news to change the science or any other material facts about the company. In my opinion they should avoid equity investments especially AIM.
The slow but steady realisation that vaccines are not a magic cure is quite apparent, even today we hear that they have found no Covid antibodies in some elderly folk even after having received their injections. Vaccines will be "ineffective" within 12 months is another report.
I liken things to the container ship Ever Given that was stranded in the Suez Canal.
Stuck for ages ( the s.p.) then having freed itself from the resisting sand ( doubters ) with the help of some highly skilled people ( R.M. & co ) and a favourable tide ( results ) was able to sail freely away to deliver its cargo .
All new investors in sng and those considering selling up should be obliged to take the following vow.
I -----, take you Synairgen to be my investment, to hold from this day forward for better for worse, for richer for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish till a takeover us do part.
Something or someone has forced C.B. to stop dead in his tracks.
It must be of some importance and my personal feeling is that it is highly positive.
Yes one could argue that things were overhyped but too be 'silenced' virtually overnight must have been as a result of a significant development.
Knowing his enthusiasm he must be having to be restrained with a strait jacket and gag !
Never forget a 1p rise in the s.p. gives Tom an increase of over £190,000 in his paper wealth.
What better incentive do you need to drive the business forward?
It will all come together at some point.
Is this nasal spray effective against viruses that enter the body through the eyes?
Now what is worrying is that I had jab no 1 last week.
I found out yesterday that my wife had rung the surgery to insist that I was injected with something else not Covid related. Although I have felt more ill each day I am sure she has my best interests at heart.
I am confident that what can be done and what needs to be done IS being done by R.M. and everyone else involved.
There has been a lot of talk recently about the possibility of take over approaches most likely in Q2 and as PI's we all have our own personal price that we would like the company to achieve.
We obviously have limited control over the eventual outcome but personally I will simply be guided by R.M's and the BOD's recommendations.
If they recommend to accept the offer they will do so in the full knowledge of the company's true worth including treatments for COPD and potential revenues from LOXL 2.
We talk a lot about the integrity and business acumen of R.M. but he is not acting alone. We must also remember that the BOD has highly experienced professionals who will also seek to get the best possible deal for everyone.
I think we will be in safe hands if and when the big Pharmas come knocking but if the decision is to go it alone with possible multiple JV's then I will respect that as well.
The potential rewards are so high here that many of us could be making some really important decisions regarding the future of our investments in sng.in the next few months.

Moderna USA
My sister's son in law ( they live in New York ) contracted Covid early on in the pandemic last year. He was quite ill for a couple of weeks but made a full recovery.
Being a key worker he received his first Modena injection and other than 24 hrs of flu like symptons all was o.k.
However after he had his second injection recently he became very ill indeed and doctors soon realised that anyone who had previously contracted Covid should be limited to one injection only.
This illustrates the fact that there is still a lot to learn about the effects of these injections .
Again he has now almost fully recovered.
Sorry folks . Got my 0's and decimal points all tangled up !
FTSE 350 qualifying m.c. is I believe £770 million. So s.p. of £3.85 required. Very achievable.
I'll get my coat.
Currently our m.c. is around £34million.
Assuming there is no t/o then if our m.c. rises to around £770 million ( s.p. £38.5 ) then we qualify to join the FTSE 250 club which will only enhance our prestige and status. Now that would be some achievement.
A little way to go to qualify for the FTSE 100 however , for that we would need to have a m.c. of around £5.3 billion requiring an s.p. of around £2650! Now if that were to happen I would have the combined wealth of Elon Musk and Jeff Bezos. I would then propose to Katie!
I suppose I'll be seeing you in the divorce courts then.
Some references to Katie today.
Please show some restraint and respect as she is actually my mother in law.
It is therefore somewhat surprising and disappointing that my wife is so plug ugly.
Is this not the most extraordinary share to be invested in ?
How many other shares do we have where positive results could affect medical outcomes globally.
How many other shares do we have where critical trials with differing agendas are being carried out in a number of different countries.
How many other shares do we have with a David v Goliath scenario.
How many other shares do we have where a T/O could result in a forecast price between £10 and £50 ?
Even the market is finding it difficult to judge and whilst probably not unique , it is certainly a very unusual but exciting share to be invested in.
