Scoop I doubt you'll get anywhere near your sell point pre dividend as ftse is on a roll maybe when markets turn sour but feck knows when that'll be and at what price glen will be by then ie could be 3.80 and drops only to 3.60 and you'll of missed an awesome rise ...I could be wrong who knows but usa and china are very close to a deal and that will put a fecking big whoosh in the world markets purley a guess mind you like I say who knows

Thanks ken for that yeah I need to start trading the wifes allowence it's absolutely mental not to be taking advantage of the ISA allowence ...the only trouble is at some point the gouvernment will work out a way to tax an isa too in tbe future ...change the rules after the pension bull crap I don't trust any of em the retirement age got lifted from 50 to 55 on private pensions that annoyed the crap put of me and the closer I get to 55 the more chance they may raise it to 57 or maybe 60

Ken dont forget your start money you've worked for that's gone ito your trading account has had tax payed on it too before its gone in and yeah your right I think they should cut us a break up the allowence back to 5k that's the least they could do but 10k would be more appropriate

Ken you have to trade 2 accounts with your wife's and yours don't you? Ie you can't link them so two pages open on computer to trade both accounts?

I wish they bring back that 5k dividend allowence or increase it to 10k give us all a break

Ken and £2000 a year add to that dividend allowence so say your drawdown that £12500 and have £2000 in dividend then thats £14500 tax free ...it used to £5k fecking gouvernment!

Trouble is you get on the back of the ship and ya get covered with black specs off the diesel fumes ..I would imagine they have filters now though
