Give it a few months and the way things are going you'll get 7% in tbe building society and money safe from share price movement ie a big freaking drop .I've been looking at one year fixes and as I type I can get 5% wait till mid January rate hike kicks in they'll be falling all over them selves to give a better rate down side is 20%tax
