The longer you leave between wells (spuds). Once and thats if the decline has started on the 1st well on the lease. It now sets a pattern for any wells thereafter.
So success on 1st well will only look like a failure on the 2nd well if the figures are lower. This will criple the value of the lease. Unless we come out with some BS about drilling lower........different formation etc to spin hopes of another transformational well.
