I disagree why would Odey sell say these levels at a massive loss, only to buy them back for a much higher price?

Lol Tradehobbs you can word it anyway you want, but, it is what it is. And I wish you luck. But for me personally, right now I see just as much opportunity right now on fste 100, but with less risk, and easier escape roots if needed

No one has accused Odey of being an idiot
Also none of the big investors were paying over 40p before they new the roaster even worked
As for Odey and a scandal? Wasn't this the man who lost a ton of cash by backing brexit simply to short the uk economy... So there is no doubt in my mind he knows every trick in the book

But we all know what a mine field Aim at the best of times... Now we're going private there is even less regulation.
And I can't say SPMP have earned much respect from me either over the last few years with some of the updates we've had from them during my time here.
So although i can see the value here
I'm my mind the risk attached to this now is just as great as it ever was.
I'm expecting these last 3 days to see some high volume trades and I've decided to sell before delisting...

As I’ve said before it’s all about how Odey are planning to profit from all this.
If they are looking to pack the whole thing up into a neat little package and sell it, then that won’t happen until all the dept and finance is under control and the plant is up and running at 100%.
Also no longer having a seat at the table and not have 40% voting rights has certainly taken a lot of shine away from any potential buyers.

If they just going to sit back and make an income from it then it’s still going to be along old wait for any dividends to start coming through

Drip feeding there remaining 70% onto the open market is not an option any more

It to do with the amount of share that are in circulation.... look at the market cap to find the value of the company’s

I don’t believe the MMS will take the bid above 5p as that’s where minimal value is

IMO the longer they leave it the more chance there is of getting a divi announcement with it .

I’m not going to disagree that there definitely seems to be a big buyer..
and to be honest snapping these up for minimal value sub 5p is quite a steal, if you have a clear thought out exit strategy
As the cheapest Odey ever paid was about 12% of the company at 10p during the open offer
But if it is one buyer hoovering these up, why no tr1?

Maybe Odey is trying to fool shareholders so they can pick up more % for 5p or less
But I think there is a third party here somewhere?

If Odey were thinking of buying us out, why was they selling last week ?

Although an offer has been made, nothing has been agreed yet.

TPP Tri star have no option but to delist... as only holding 16% and no seat on the board doesn’t fill enough of the criteria for an investment company to be listed on aim

I’m not saying I won’t be worth that in the future.....
But
The company needs to start making some decent profits before its worthy of a 100m plus market cap
IMO it still has a very long way to go

I Think they are proposing this sort of thing to trade not really looked into it yet

I think the point is we would be in breach of aim rules by not delisting..... without a chair at a table somewhere, we would need to make more and more investments as a company in order to carry on trading on aim, it’s supposed to stop the boiler room scams. I think ??
But IMO they happens in broad daylight every day and no one seems to batter an eyelid , on aim
