Yes pretty certain the MDCP does need to be approved before they grant the licence - i think more info from Riversgold would be helpful in managing expectations. Always interests me that the RGL SP doesn't really move much at all, very low volume too - i don't really know the ASX market though

So the hearing for this week has been "adjourned" and a new date has been set for the next hearing, my take on this is that maybe not all of the information is available (?) due process (?). Frustrating but just the way these things are and we will need to hold further for our riches.

This week's tick up has shown how easily we will rise up, it's not that long ago that there were trades in the 40s and this week we've had them in the 60s.

The next hearing is scheduled for 3rd July 10am Perth time. I note that in the reporting section on the mining licence site under the section that confirms the grant recommendation the date states 5/6/26. I don't recall seeing this previously, it may not have been updated yet, or maybe there will be news after the 5th. My read of it is that it simply has not yet been updated.

I note also on hotcopper somebody has posted the following:" I called the Mineral Titles Office earlier to see if they could give an update. All the women could say was "its close"

So we most definitely will be getting news this month. Those who are patient will be rewarded IMHO. Those who use this information to downplay the opportunity will try and mislead you.

Incidentally I did notice a tweet from Leni a week or so ago about GGP and their environmental approval for havieron, which included these words "Navigating the ever tougher Govt regulations is not easy these days." So maybe this delay shouldn't be much of a surprise, I did wonder if there was some hint of his own experience in it

Another 40m buy landed - and I fully expect a stack of late printed trades

Volume sold V bought was somehting like 3:1 earlier, its now pretty much even - likely it will end the day more bought than sold. My take is that we won't go blue today, but we'll be in the 0.030's within a week. By the time it gets to 1st July and we've had some more meat on the bones of the RNS there will be considerably more interest. I'm lucky enough to have bought in yesterday, having done much more research today I feel pretty comfortable here.

I'd agree its not negative its factual - trouble is some people have no patience nd expect game changers for every RNS.

The company says the initial acid injection programme was successfully completed.

It says technical analysis supports progression to the next phase.

It reports preliminary gas analysis that is similar to the 1994 gas analysis, which had 2.76% helium.

The tone is “encouraged” and “important step,” which is in my view positive language for an operational update.

Very different I think, and neither more or less confident, but much more professional in my view , factual, less "oooh look what we've found" and more solid factual statements, of "we said we'd do this, and now we are doing it"

The fact that POG is sitting at pretty much a 3 month low right now will be having an impact on SP - Iran not being a done deal having a real impact

The 0.055 shown on here is the "ask" - typically you will only end up paying full ask if you make (in my experience) a very small trade, or if volume is high and people are prepared to pay full ask. This (and other) sites set an algorithm which basically says that if a trade is below the mid point of the "bid" and the "ask" it is classed as a sell and if it is above the mid point its classed as a "buy". Volume is low, I set an order to fill at below .05 and it completed at 0.0499. When volume is high sometimes you will see trades classed as "buys" when they are actually "sells" because it has been possible to sell closer to the ask than the bid price.

Buys showing as sells this morning. The 4m "sell" at 8.33 this morning is a purchase of mine. Almost seems too good to be true at this late stage of things.

Personally I don't think it is a 100% done deal, chat on the Hot Copper site for Riversgold seems to mirror this too. If it were a done deal then our SP would be significantly higher (and for sure Riversgold wouldn't be sitting at C£20m MCPA. Throughout the last few months we have seen a couple of short-lived peaks, but basically between 45 and 60 overall. I think as PIs we're prepared to take the risk, because we know the reward could be significant. What may also happen here (and this is 100% speculation on my part) is that you start to see some bigger players starting to invest, maybe some family investment offices for instance, some of those who can accept less upside but greater certainty, those types of folk would likely not invest until the licence is done, we then of course move on to getting the gold out of the ground. This all takes time, but we are much much closer to getting that licence sealed up now.

It's the standard process in these circumstances... There was an objection to the licence which was resolved administratively a while back (this was RNSd) , there is now a hearing with the warden in order that they can grant the licence....here's the info from the mining site....

UT at 1.71 feels positive for a half decent opening tomorrow

Probably 8th June. There's a mining licence hearing on 5th June (10 am Perth time) - we might be lucky and get some news on that day. News on Thar also apparently due in June too I read on here -

MACD stands for Moving Average Convergence Divergence. It is a popular technical indicator that can be used to spot changes in a SP trend and momentum. In simple terms, it helps you figure out if a share is gaining strength in its current direction or if it is about to reverse. Its worked out by subtracting a longer-term average (26-day Exponential Moving Average) from a shorter-term average (12-day EMA) - basically used to spot trends.

I've been following the MACD very closely for the last couple of months. Right now, it is still (just) negative, but has moved from -10,499 to -1.2237, that is a significant shift. Accepting that nobody really times the bottom as perfectly as we'd like, this really is now all to play for. - all IMHO - DYOR, I do mine.

A MACD that has moved steadily upward from a very negative level to a much less negative level tells us that downward momentum is weakening and the SP is moving toward an upward trend.

For WSBN specifically, the technical pages still describe MACD as negative and therefore still bearish, but the fact that the MACD has improved so sharply over 7 weeks means the bearish momentum is turning.

What that usually means in practice:

Selling pressure is fading rather than accelerating.

The chart may be forming an early bottoming pattern if price also starts to stabilise or rise.

It is not yet a confirmed bullish signal just because MACD is improving; confirmation usually comes when the MACD line crosses above its signal line and/or moves above zero. - I;m expecting that to be in the next few days - possibly this week.
