there was quite a bit of info kept back. as good as the interview was (if it is to be believed) then there appeared to be even better news around the corner. acquisitions and such like.

i don't think Mr Foo cares about being shot down (metaphorically) on the basis of inaccurate and misleading statements, in general. but the statement was delivered in the context of end of year targets and so much more that it would be a disaster if the deal is not done and announced soon.
