not wishing to sound like banjo - but banjo has copied and pasted on the Cameroon-Chad energy supply potential and other inter Africa export opportunities. there is demand out there. we are diversifying from all eggs in douala model. mel was always in favour of a virtual pipeline and it appears now that is in the mix. energy wells is only one concept. a JV partner is helpful for that and others.
"They're OK in large numbers but VOG don't do large numbers do they?" - we are not talking Toyko here. the ecomony is emerging. there are masses of aged industrial customers. but there are green shoots. think of the infrastructure over the last 12-18 months - second wouri bridge, dredging and clean up of the port to increase capacity. it all sounds like industrial gearing to me. and with that, comes a demand for power in one form or another.
3card, Mr Foo is a miner. He sees little light. I doubt the country was going to fold without VOG but that is not to say that there is not industrial demand, domestic demand, or demand for big power gas-power projects. the 2019 'blend' is better.
