I think what they've done is show BHP that they know the company needs streamlining and it's still worth more than their second offer.They are fronting it out that they are prepared to go it alone. BHP want AAL and AAL know it. Very clever in my opinion.
Do you think this may head down again if there is a chance of no further offer? Also now they have revised the offer, does the deadline of 22 May still stand? Sorry for all the questions.TIA
This could get tasty next week with other potential bidders discussing over the weekend . Only 19 days left for BHP to revise their bid. I don't think they will leave it to the last minute . IMO.
