Morning Stockpickfree, thanks for the correction, i am not sure i am right just seems the most logical for me from what we have heard and not heard, i always look to be positive in a share i have but with an open mind of the negatives as well .
I really thought we would have had sales outside of the UK by now so it seems the conditional recc, is a thorn in our side but the positive is that NICE really only want more data /info to confirm what they already know, when this will happen i dont know but have a feeling we will get a similar response with the stroke test next month?????.
Sorry gents but you are both in- correct , if you read fully the FDA application it clearly states they will always look favourably on ANY application that is backed up with a world recognised health Authority approval of which NICE ticks that box , and yes i know before you say it , we only have a conditional approval and this is why FDA news will be held back until a, we get full approval and that is anyones guess and b, we get the green light from the FDA but the process will take longer than the 150 days they work on and that is when we could do with a US backer to give us some cudos and sway within the FDA .
The last few RNS S have been really positive but with very little reward regarding sp increase. For me now only sales will help us turn the corner with some consistancy and i was hoping that would have happened by now so it seems the conditional NICE reccommendation could be what is holding things back especially with the FDA, get that sorted and sales should follow.
Roger , you have hit the nail on the head a couple of time today . Is it really Budd s fault we have no real clarity on where we stand with our tests or more to do with how slowly committee s work.As has been stated today , this is a test to help and not a drug that will harm . Lets get this in to perspective for a minute , once the machines are bought , the tests and staff labour add up to about £100 and for that you CAN change a childs ,parents ,grandparents and all other relatives and family friends lives FOREVER. I get that they want to make sure the test does exactly what it says on the tin , the trouble for me is there are far to many meetings and not enough action in all public bodies , and we wonder why we pay so much in taxes . I would put a quid on it that every meeting costs a lot more than £100.
Interesting to listen to the presentation on Good Morning as the doc said NICE are recommending only to people that have had a stroke already, news to me as i cant remember an RNS stating that , but i like the fact some doctors are already thinking that it is good enough to use.
Facts can be looked at in different ways, as we have no news from the FDA pre application how can a cost for promotion be established?. We have still not heard when and how much information NICE are looking for so how can a time limit be established for full approval?. We can all guess but to then call them facts is stretching it a bit imo, taking into account that some of them are plausable and possible but as the company has been silent in the rns department no certain calculations can be deemed as fact.
Just been doing a bit more reading up and as yet we have not heard about the Evidence Generation Plan which is supposed to be set up by GDR in conjunction with NICE to gather the evidence required, i remember at the time that a timescale was given , anyone remember as i have forgotten and cant find it ?.
Stockpick, in answer to your question, i have no idea . We have been told and seen that they will be world class products but as to why no sales yet is a conundrum to me and many others. We know AIHL is available to the NHS and elsewhere if they want it or can find the funding in their budgets. As Starrs has said because we dont have an unconditional recommendation yet so funding is not a must for trusts so it may be everywhere else is working on the same theory which i find hard to fathom, is it to do with the company , again dont know but what is plain to see the market wont move on this until sales commence, knowing when that will be is the prize.
LTH, with anything solid foundations are a must , we have that in bucket loads now , a litle more patience is now required to build the walls with sales, topping out with the roof will be very rewarding with a takeover , when??? who knows but it is coming.
Its a bit off a double edged sword, we need more sales to get the answers to the conditions set by NICE but then who will buy it without full NICE approval . We all know how slow the politics around funding go in the UK and yes. most of us have no real knowledge on how the medical proffession works so it would be good to hear from the company on how they plan to overcome the situation ??????.
