And Netflix already depend (in a small way yes) on ITV Studios for a certain amount of English speaking content…

The huge WBD deal reinforces to all players that big media assets are in flux and valuable.

And the outcome can indirectly influence valuations and competitive positioning in the industry elsewhere.

Today's news out of ITV Studios is that they are launching "Studio 55".

If the name rings a bell its because back in Jan-2025 ITV launched "Zoo 55" to help it increase digital, social & gaming revenue ( Https://www.itvstudios.com/zoo55 ).

The new "Studio 55" seems to be a logical extension of this existing "Zoo 55" approach but obviously focused on the Studio content creation part of the business...

The search for revenue continues - and ITV is doing a great job in this respect I feel, regardless of the share price.
