Sold out my CFD shares this morning at 29p with the intention of buying back later, big mistake. I use trading 212 and 'did' have 30k worth but they've capped the trade amount to £60 quid now which is ridiculous so cant get back in!! soul destroying.
does anyone else use CFD software that isnt capped?? any recommendations?
Bugsy, you and others talk about gaps. Filling the gap, gap up etc. Where do you get this info?
I use trading 212 and being relatively new to day trading I'm still trying to learn. Is there any links or sites anyone could point me to sk I can look into this.
Thanks in advance and please no sarcasm, we all start at the bottom once!
Recently PMO and TLW have been trading roughly similar prices and rises and falls.
Last 2 weeks pmo has been moving further and further ahead even though tlw has better hedging and financials. Does anyone know the reason or do we have more shorters holding the price back?
Okay, I dont think this is likely but you never know soooooo......if a company looks to takeover tlw short term it's good for shareholders as prices go up, I get that. But what then?? I have no experience holding shared during a takeover so would appreciate someone just outlining what happens to shares we hold. Should we hang onto them and they merge into a new company? Would we be better or worse off or should we take the short term profit?
Shares looking positive today though after a shakeup start. About time!
IMO:
I work in the construction sector, most sites didnt shut down just limited trades on site. All big players are ramping back up now, putting pressure on subbies to return to site(probably because they're losing money). Definate pickup in traffic as people start returning to work/employment or just ignoring rules. The government isnt stupid(dispite rumours ;)) they know by the end of this 3 week lockdown more and more people will be returning to some normality whether there allowed out or not. I dont think they will put ANOTHER 3 week lockdown in place as it's just unmanageable and probably unwarranted as the deaths/cases are dropping.
Also expect to see a tlw recovery to mid to late 20s next week as things are easing slightly around the world as well as positive late trades friday (someone got a whiff of something)
Just my opinion, take it or leave it, no rudeness please ??
Anyone else notice a 1.1m share sell trade after close? Followed by several fairly large buys?
Someone know something for monday?
The amount of late buys makes me think it 'hopefully' should go up for the day. Which would be nice after today's beating.
Fingers crossed.
From the voting, am I right in saying that although they are not pursuing the rights issue at the moment because of the 30% odd who voted against, they are still reserving the right to use that in the next 6 months to raise cash?
Cheers FEXIT. I've seen a lot of bluster here over the last few weeks before I piped up. I'm in tullow for the long haul so very happy how things are moving and the negative stuff is considered but I'm gonna stick it out 12months plus. Fingers crossed. :)
