They have EU approval for home use so Biosure can put it up on there website for home use and if a UK resident buys it via the site it's all sales and not having the MHRA approval for home use makes no difference..
Interesting that Biosure has an antibody self test available along with the RTC and another professional antibody test on their website. With the user studies by UU surely the RTC test could also become a self test ?.
Interesting on the Biosure website it has marketed a antibody self test aswell as the two professional use Antibody tests.......
Tweeting away he is... wouldn't you think he'd look to solve the DHSC stalemate and get a first class antibody test that's produced by the home nations out instead of waisting more money on foreign companies.

Good call Scardey_cat. The timing by Abingdon in making the supplementary score-card product available alongside AbC-19TM all of a sudden could be quite compelling for governments...
Good to see more noise being created. The more publicity the better of the shocking treatment by the Gov of UK diagnostics companies the better.

For once a well written article which highlights the real challenges AVCT and others have in the British market...

Abingdon can't be too far away from completing TT. This was possibility deprioritised due to other challenges since the parnership announcement was made but now likely back in focus as Abingdon will be actively looking to secure capacity for their new facilities . That new capacity of theirs isn't going to be taken up by the government at present with the current court case.
Convex hats off to you, fantastic research. Thanks for your valuable insights and diligent work.
And a little reminder that UU are also involved in the RTC user testing for antibodies, see tweets from back in May by the same point of contact for vistic usability testing :- Tara Moore..

According to their (intermedicalss)website they are a partner of a much bigger group:

The parnership announced with screen4 is only for antibody testing but hopefully the parnership can be expanded in the near future to include other testing services
Definitely nothing happening at Alva on weekends..

Any insights/updates on BAMS, included a snippet from the June 2020 RNS but has there been any further updates from the company that has been issued?.
We are now looking forward to testing the prototype BAMS assay with patient samples in the UK very soon, whilst Adeptrix does the same at a site in the US. This will keep us on track for launch of a product for professional use in the summer.
A COVID-19 BAMS assay could provide highly sensitive and specific testing for up to a thousand samples per day in the hospital setting using standard equipment that is available but not currently used for coronavirus testing thus contributing significantly to an increase in global testing capacity.
We also have payments from licensing agreements as they come on stream , for example the POINT licensing agreement from Jan's RNS is:
'Under the terms of the agreement, Avacta will receive an upfront fee and development milestones for the first radiopharmaceutical prodrug totalling $9.5 million'
Good to see things are rather busy at Alva...
