Just been reading the advvfn board and here is a post from bad gateway at 7.16
They 're really going to have to be extremely careful else ther're going to get their IP stolen.
From panda at 7.12 today "in my opinion the I Phone needs to be completely protected. My Chinese friends ( both lecturers in Engineering) have assured me that the Chinese government WILL (his capitals not minesteal the IP if at all possible.
Hmm... sort of what I was raising yesterday before the board policemans intervention
Now please don't forget that me and my family are seriously invested here so I am definitely not log lorry.
Incedently any one want to confirm from my agm description that I was definitely there.?
Seems that I am not alone in having Chinese IP concerns. from these couple of posts.
Chri..t I hope I'm wrong for m and all other investors.
Fingers and toes all crossed

Re anger management, all I need to say is Absolutely no way, assuming of course that I am treated with the respect that I treat others.
But if you abuse me I will respond in kind....
It's not difficult to understand, and I am still awaiting my apology from lse99
So let's go back a bit, I have asked lse99 if he attended the AGM - answer came there NONE - surprise serprise there NOT.
Now I can confirm that I was there - Neil was wearing a black tee shirt, and one of my abiding memories of the day was the continuing mess ups with the IT presentation equipment. Rather embarrassing for a technical company, still we eventually got to see the presentation re the use of Graphene in hospital bandages. And pretty impressive it was too..
What did you think of the AGM lse99?
So if you can confirm that I was there (with my wife Incidentally) it rather follows that I am seriously invested here, as are all 4 of my family.
Now, as I said in my earlier post I have generally given up posting on BB's because of the plonkers who like the sound of their patronising BS echoing around the place.
But today I decided to change and post about a matter that was concerning me, namely that Are the Chinese to be trusted as business partners.
So simple as, I was very polite, setting out that I was a serious investor here and that I had attended the AGM.
So what could possibly go wrong, in inviting a serious discussion discussion from a guy who is seriously invested here
And what did I receive in return, a patronising response implying that I wasn't an investor, and was therefore a liar.
AND he has not apologised for this slur.
Lse99
are you there, I'm waiting for your apology.
I am a straight forward honest guy,( like Tony Blair NOT) and if I am patronised and it is implied that I am a liar, without a shred of back up, then yes I will react.
So to any newbies here thinking about a first post here - BEWARE THE SELF APPOINTED Board guardian.
Which of the 2 articles I have referenced here have you read.
Before you reply I can answer for you NONE NEITHER NONE otherwise you wouldn't be writing such patronising crap.
I see that you chose to refer to me as an "investor" ie doubting wether I am invested here.
Let me refer you back to my post, especially the bit about me and my family being heavily invested here, I take it that, that you are calling me a Liar.
Well please try that to my face and then await developments.....
Were you at the AGM? I CERTAINLY was!!!
Your patronising BS comes as a timely reminder exactly why I stopped posting on these boards - more than enough Know it all self appointed board policemen than you can wave a stick at.
HAVE YOU OR ANYBODY HERE READ THESE REFERENCED ARTICLES????
OH SO SO CLEARLY NO NO NO NO
Hi luckyorange thanks
While I'm on the subject I've just clocked an article on page 13 of today's Sunday Times headed UK gives China edge in arms race, which again gives a lot of attention to Graphene security - or lack of more like.
Again I strongly recommend reading this, Weildy included.
Regards Big C
Hi there, I don't really post but do read and I attended the AGM as I and my family hold big positions here. I am a bit surprised that no one else either here or on the other board has picked up on a press article from yesterday's Daily Telegraph.
The article begins with discussing graphed and there are references to the Chinese President visiting the National Graphene Centre in Manchester.
The main thrust of the argument is about the potential danger that China posts re intellectual property theft and a monolithic approach to seeking big commercial advantages.
I regard this article as compulsory reading for all - and especially for VRS investors.
For me, I have long harboured concerns about keeping our secrets out of their hands.
Now I would welcome a Neil response to these concerns.
Well, having hopefully whetted your appetites, the good news is that you don't have to start rooting about for an old newspaper as all you have to do is to put Juliet Samuel China fears into a search engine and, after a quick registration procedure there it will be.
I would welcome comments here about this, and I also ask suggest that the other board might be interested in this info.
Anyone help in sharing that over there?
Regards BigC
Hi guys, I am an investor here, and attended last night.
Haven't posted here before as I spend most of my time on the VRS board, (reading)
I will add something which I was very impressed with in a post presentation chat with the guys.
Apologies in advance if this is widely known here.
I asked how many staff they had. I was surprised and delighted to be told that there weren't any other staff, full stop.
There isn't even an office!!
So wow, talk about a lean operation!!
In contrast VRS has about 100!!
So am in the middle of selling a property which will produce about 265K.
May well take a serious luck at adding at that time.
All the money will not be available though.
VRS is featured as " Share punt of the week " in today's Daily Mail page 98 with a brief summary of the company.
Hi everyone, haven't posted here and hardly anywhere else for ages but couldn't resist a few comments. I would like to start by echoing some earlier comments about MAGP supporters/investors . I have had the brilliant good fortune to meet possibly more of you than anyone else on here, as I have moved between those in the North and in London. I can honestly say that I haven't met anyone (except obviously the Lancasterans LOL), whose company I have not enjoined. This is certainly not the situation I have found any where else in life. So a huge huge thanks to you all for those times and all the chat and banter that we have all enjoined on the BB. My sympathies are with you all, particularly those with the misfortune to be still invested here, fortuitously I am long out of here. It may have one small silver lining for me however in that I may now escape ever having to repay the cost of a meal which I owed to the people present at the restaurant from which I did a Station runner from Blackpool long ago. Joking apart - many brilliant interactions over the years, so I'm trying hard to look on the probable one and only bright side here. I also learnt a lot on here - I remember how I had to actually ask what spudding was !! Cringe Cringe I think that it was Smidsey who kindly put me right without extracting the urine - thanks Many many happy memories. At the moment I am a big fan of - and relatively large investor in VRS - up 30% in the last 2 days after some truly amazing news released. Just my hint, all IMO and DYOR obviously and hopefully that MIGHT result in me paying off my debt In as positive a way as I dare to be in the circumstances, anyone else want to share any any thoughts ?
Interesting but brief discussion of graphene on the first 5 minutes of Michael Portilos Great British Railway Journeys programme tonight. Worth a quick look IMO. regards BigC This is my biggest holding BTW.
Just came across your comments - couldn't agree with you more mate !
Sorry - i appear to have killed off this board !
I was at the presentation last week, though i am not invested here i do have the shares on my watch list. Seemed to be a generally positive show - but aren't they all ! Became more interested at the end when presenter said that he expected the number of producing wells next year would increase from 2000 to between 3500 and 4000 ! This one for me is investable for me - IMHO but don't really have any spare funds available. BigC
Hello my friend - i havent been around much for a while, more pripoerty woes im afraid. Fortunately largly missed the debarcle on the 'home board' by accident , was punting heavily on LGO at the time - double bonus !!! Notice that you are in MSMN , are you aware of the presentation at proactive investors on the 10th in mayfair ? Apologies to all here for the "off piste" BUT will also mention that also presenting last night were AMED - have just noticed that they are up 16% today. GLA BigC
I was at the their presentation last night. CAVEAT - i am not an investor here and have not researched the company in any way. Was there to see other companies. However, from my very neutral position i was impressed with what i heard and IMPO the recent steady drop in the SP may well present a good price to buy in at, i suspect that a lot on here are badly underwater here at the mo. I liked the approach of offering different platforms for different sizes of companies , we heard the usual stuff about this type of company being totally dependent on the quality of their staff - ( 50 odd ) apparently - with quite a few signed from the american company who are considered to be the main competition.!!! Suggested now that the staff are sufficient in numbers to handle the much more business that their now increased sales force is hoping to create . The impression i got was that if you believe in the concept of people ordering more and more products from their phones , then this could do well . Me ? will i be investing ? - problem is that this is a concept somewhat beyond my seasoned years - but my super tecky son is coming round to help me load a skip soon - so i will ask his view. All this is my personal opinion only !! GLA
TYR are presenting at the Proactive Investors do in London on the 3rd July. I will try very hard to ensure that i can get there. Regards BigC

Hi there , yes i was very pleased to see the article also , going to be interesting to see what happens next week to thr SP. BTW , did you ever get hold of that company note from First Columbus - getting a bit old now as the date on it was may 2013 - still however IMO the best summary of the prospects here. If you are interested in getting a copy from me - my email is thebigc007@mail.com regards BigC
GDG are presenting at the proactive investors do in Mayfair on the 18th February - it was at a presentation some time ago that this company came to my attention . BigC
