Well im adding with profits from other stocks so "free loading" if you like...a year or two from now im pretty confident we will be well north of 1p... (still makes me shake my head in disbelief every time I say 1p) :-/

The company would of took advice on this soon as they signed Fincapp up as joint broker.... Finncap have done this millions of times... its not always the same but if speed was a factor to beef up GDR's bottom line... so they could ramp up production immediately without relying on a 3rd party to stump up the cash.... then they would of been told this is the best way for the company to proceed.
I put in for 25K shares and to be honest I don't care if I don't get any at all as I've got a bucket load at half that price... I'm just delighted the company now has sufficient funds to press ahead with all projects its working on and is in a position to deliver massive shareholder value in the near future...we should all stop whinging about this and just be happy the cash piled in and it was oversubscribed.

Manufacturing milestones achieved for SARS-CoV-2 test
genedrive plc (AIM: GDR), the near patient molecular diagnostics company, announces it has completed the last significant manufacturing milestone in the co-development of the Genedrive® 96 SARS-CoV-2 kit with Cytiva. The PCR-based test has completed its pilot manufacturing runs and yielded high performing multiplexed assays for COVID-19 testing. The overall project plan currently remains on track and the company is targeting CE marking in approximately 3 weeks’ time.

….to my story about a friends testing and results yesterday....

Remember my friend and her co worker who went for tests requested by their employer (police) I posted about???.... well the plot thickens.. after both having tests last weds.. testing negative and getting calls on Sunday from their Occupational health depts.. then 1 of them receiving a call to say its actually positive so a (false negative)?... and the other having received a wrong D.O.B on the security question ….. they now both been told (by CO ) to completely ignore the results as approximately 35% of these particular tests are giving incorrect or inconclusive results!! ...and that's come from the Top cop....which is a pretty $ hi te performance on any level.
I'm not sure what firms or labs are involved but its shocking and a frikking complete waste of time and money if companies are paying for their staff to be testing to prevent the spread of the virus and they cant even get a reliable test results....i mean WTF!!
So yes there may be plenty firms out there jumping on the band wagon( bit like the $h I te PPE coming from everywhere sort of firms) but GDR will have the quality tests the Gov will require, that will be more accurate than any out there..i wonder how many of these new firms have "world firsts" on there documentation?? ….. Exactly.
