Here’s the way I see it if art does a big placing at say 32p to secure CUDA I have no issue with it as it would charm quickly and is value accredative. If he does one at silly levels like you I will lose my sh*t

Do we know if the placing shares have actually been admitted if you look at the RNS it just says they will be admitted in the next 12 months ?

The Company announced an oil discovery ("Discovery Well") on the Barron Flats Federal (Deep) Unit ("BFFDU") on August 31, 2021. The Company's working interest in the Discovery Well drilling spacing unit in reservoirs below the Shannon reservoir in the unitized BFSU is 100% until 400% of the capital expended in the well is recovered from production due to the non-participation of a working interest partner in the drilling operation.

Regarding the discover I believe we have 100 percent wi till we recover the cost of the well then it returns to original WI

I don’t think Art would fancy a taleover before attaining substantial production here.
However due to lack of substantial ii holdings if someone was to go hostile we are quite literally a sitting duck to get taken out.
Of course the sp would go nuts if news of that got out….
We will find out soon enough…..

How great to actual see logical discussion on how best to exploit our fantastic asset.
It beggars belief that some are disingenuously implying that Art is essentially telling porkies about the discovery.

I’ve been racking my head around why Art has sat on this and my thoughts are as follows

The size of the discovery means it obvious a partner with deep pockets is required
Once disclosed to the market the cost of acquiring CUDA wi will increase substantially and I would think some way in excess of current COPL mkt cap
A bid in excess of COPL current mkt cap should then force a re rate of COPL
That leaves CNOOC…..we know Art has said they are being forced to sell US assets, so maybe the plan could be to acquire their 15% Wi.

Let’s hope Art has one of his specials lined up
