I have to say is very similar to when Recon made their onshore…confirmed discovery a bit cagey then govt seeking commitment for additional drills…

As previously disclosed, Tower received an unsolicited approach from a Major oil company regarding its license PEL 96 in the second half of 2019. That company has told Tower that it remains interested in working on this project, but has not prioritised it during the first half of 2020, and we expect discussions to remain on the back burner in the second half of the year, or at least until the Covid-19 pandemic situation is clearer. This has not affected our own plans for the license, and we await with great interest the outcome of further work, such as Global's, and also further wells being drilled in Namibia, including Shell's well on license PEL 39 and Total's Venus well, all of which will enhance our own basin modelling and prospect evaluation.

Bladder we know there is an ii dumping GBP, add to this PI s sitting on profit and you have the perfect storm.

GBP one trick pony (apart from disputed Italian licences) that doubled in price on speculation.
TRP multi asset company with more moderate rise (placing ovethang) and extensive acerage with prior interest from Major.

Obviously all the excitement is about Namibia but we are smack bang next to Total in SA….

On 7 February 2019 Total reported a significant gas condensate discovery in Block 11B/12B, located in the Outeniqua basin, offshore South Africa. The well was drilled to a total depth of 3,633 metres and encountered 57 metres of net pay in Lower Cretaceous reservoirs, and with this discovery opens a new world class gas and oil play. Total have stated that they believe the new discovery could hold over one billion barrels of oil equivalent.

On 28 October 2020 Total reported a second major discovery in the Outeniqua basin with the Luiperd-1X well, which encountered 73 meters of good quality net pay in 85 meters of gross sands in well-developed Lower Cretaceous reservoirs.The well was reported by Total’s partners to have reached a maximum constrained flow-rate of 33 million cubic feet per day of natural gas (‘MMcfpd’) and 4,320 barrels of condensate per day (‘bcpd’), an aggregate of approximately 9,820 barrels of oil equivalent per day (‘boepd’). Current indications are that the Luiperd discovery is larger than the 1 billion boe Brulpadda discovery announced in 2019.

Supremely attractive low cost , low risk appraisal well with near term production in Cameroon
Substantial acerage in Namibia with prior, unsolicited approach from a major
Huge potential gas target in South Africa that backs onto multi tcf discovery
Very nice…..all for a chump change mkt cap.
