So GJ is either a tool or a liar he categorically stated it was not possible to move on test other zones and come back... I imagine the fact that Raven are now odds on to come in first...having targeted the most likely interval to flow has influenced this. 3 months of trashing the sp and we could have had a likely commercial flow from other zones already... Jeez

The company have given no idea of how they will fund barryroe until that is known this is rooted. Ideally a farm out if not a highly dilutive placing beckons

Well one thing is for sure....if a placing is needed(as seems increasingly likely) Art will not be able to ramp this on the 'finance imminent' line he used last time - no one like to be reamed twice... Best case scenario I would assume is the appraisal well drilled some time in summer. Still very nice upside but as time drags on dilution looks probable.

4 weeks till news on the REL flow test.....seems they have a far better strategy than GJs 'let's test every zone' idea Looks to me like they have gone straight in for the zone most likely to be commercial there.... Does anyone know what the feck this guy is doing aside from hammering the sp for JV partners?? It now looks to me as though REL will give results before this zone we have been stuck at for months....

Jim, Whilst its possible there could be a farm-in this month I would say its unlikely. Chariot already have 3-d sorted and they are good to go this year. I would say the majors have picked their drills for this year in Namibia and any success (or failure) will move the sp here accordingly in sympathy. It's unthinkable a major would drill in Namibia without 3-d, so as per my prev comments best case scenario is 3-d and farm out this year, and, after evaluation (which will take several months) of the 3-d hopefully a drill in 2019 would follow. We are below cash as a result of the management team here.

GS that we agree on, this is worth multiples of the current mkt cap, unfortunately with a death spiral CLN its hard to see where the bottom is here. Tough one for ALO holders as they were instantly 50% diluted and now have to suffer this. One to watch and when funds allow I will trickle some here.

Hamilton I agree with your sentiment this is undervalued. There are 2 issues here though - 1. the BOD are a bunch of over paid wasters and were almost ousted at the last meeting 2. they should have got the 2d seismic and CPR done ages ago and likely they would have gotten 3d seismic and farmin done last year...meaning a drill slot this year. They have been sat on this licence for ages... I think that this will move based on results on Namibia drills this year.

Fair call, but with these CLNs pending I would say 4-5p is now a reasonable entry price.

IMHO the trigger for a farm in will be success @ one of the drills from majors this year. This needs the 3d seismic badly to firm up the lowly COs from the 2d.

Boot going in from MMs I see again. Tough one to call this as you could be stuck for months massively underwater but with the obvious huge upside 9in the event of a deal. Good one if you can afford to leave money tied up for the upside.

Completely agree con are great for th company sh9te for holders. It's far better to do what char have just done do a discounted placing and get it all out the way in one hit, clns are death by 1000 cuts. Glad to see the farce of a 10p oo has been dismissed

GS Many thanks for that. I like this share a lot and was a long time holder of ALO. The CLNs converting at 20% to VWAP concern me though, so its a watching brief for now, as I suspect it will be for many.

Placing imminent and MMs dropping it to at/near expected level. They were out doing presentations which usually means the begging bowl follows. 1 mill cash at end of Feb, follow up RC campaign @ Lighthouse to come.

Completely agree but why buy when someone can instantly convert at 20 pc discount to mkt price It would be great to get some clarity on how many clns are outstanding, the company should also confirm they are not going ahead with the OO or better still offer to holders at 20 percent discount to market! You look at the likes of Amur with their huge nickel resource and are still multiples below NAV due to death spiral finance deals.

I guess like many I m struggling to see near term upside here... In recent times it takes either a major to show interest or bonanza style grades The real value here is in Papua New Guinea with the massive targets but seems they ran out of cash for that
