Ugg, Seems a strange comment.... On NPPC I see this breaching 1.5p Finance - 2.5-3p First Oil - 5p + This is at minimum a £100 mill mkt cap company when the oil starts to flow.

Berating a share (as is mindlessly ramping) is counterproductive. Posting a balanced opinion (negative or positive) is welcome on BBs such as this. The facts are simple.... We either get a dilution or we get NNPC. Dilution and I would estimate you get in 20% below current sp. NNPC and you will get locked out and miss out on at least a bag and likely 2 or 3.... Personally I like investing near the bottom on a stock that will give you massive leverage against the Brent price if Art pulls this off.

Failed due to price getting out of hand when it was known Cadogan were interested. So this time they have confidentiality agreements that allow discussions for a mutually acceptable price for t/o that can then be announced without the MMs getting a sniff of it first. So from todays price of 0.85 a t/o of 2p+ will be accepted and is a snip for the gas in the ground, production and 40 mill spent on infra. I would imagine a deal would involve Col maintaining some sort of role.... but WTFDIK....

I also thought it was a very good question - What is the current cash position and are they funded to year end for DFS and running costs?? Obviously if they monetise an asset this will remove the need for it but seems quite a way off??

Only thing that will move this is one of the developments the ceo talks about coming to fruition by his own admission all talks are at an exploratory stage so a while to wait yet...

Jay I agree 100%, just saying that however unlikely, its still a possible outcome we won't get it. I have a decent size holding now so am hoping like most of us that we just get the approval and Art then shows his worth by getting finance and rig sorted ASAP as he has alluded to.

Dunno what folks positions are here but for me this is a recovery play after some bad calls elsewhere. I understand and accept the risk NNPC before cash raise we multi-bag instantly, Cash raise before NNPC and it will be unpleasant, but if we still get the approval, it’s just a headwind before the payday. The only doomsday scenario is to not to get NNPC. It will be plan B then and all focus on Mozambique. IMHO this is the least likely scenario – but you should consider ALL possible scenarios not just blue sky when putting your hard earned in.
