I’d disagree there it’s simply because Exxon smashed it with multiple light oil finds and they were hoping for light oil. A huge mobile heavy oil feed is certainly not worthless but that’s what the market is pricing it as.
But that’s why Carapa is vital as it will prove there is light oil on Tullows acerage

To get the analysis of likely commerciallity of the heavy oil prospects initial feedback looks b promising of course mr market has said heavy oil so nil value conveniently forgetting similar fields such as kraken pumping out tens of thousands of barrels daily

At least then I’ll either be in clover or the poor house instead of watching this blatant manipulation

I’ve often thought Total would just pile in with an offer as they are JV partners on many TLW assets so due diligence would be far simpler.
Even if Carapa is a duster which I think is unlikely considering how long they have been drilling there are so many catalysts for a swift reversal it’s almost comical.
