LoveSingh I could guess and give you 50 different outcomes but the answer is that nobody knows at this point - we all have to wait for more details but I personally believe that the split will be good and the value of your overall investment will increase so sit tight.

Great points Shezer, although this does not form a precedent for a U.K. court or for our regulators they tend to follow each other. I also noted in the article JB provided:-

I can easily see AMGO raising its interest rates to those similar to its competitors, as it stands we are the same as a bank overdraft. Increasing the APR charged is the direct result of increased claims/default and additional procedures potentially required by the FCA. I am not sure how I feel about that but there is no shortage of business and our model will have to reflect the cost/risk brought about in part by the decisions of FCA/FOS.

We are not helping JB he is providing us with an unmissable opportunity and some of us are grabbing it.

On a very basic level S is correct if everyone waited until the share was 1p relying on JB to sell every day then the MM would each accumulate say 10% of the shares each - remember there are no buyers - what would they do then..... up the price to 20p at least and then of course we would all pile in. I just don’t think we would be any better off and whilst JB has proven he is good for his word I am not entirely sure I would trust everyone in the market to hold back. In reality the price is very cheap and those of us that are added believe that the SP has already fallen to a level that we want to buy - large amounts. As he is not invested and apparently not brave/confident enough To short then I am afraid S’s comments add nothing. ATB

So I was going to keep quit about this little find, only £9.3 million of the provision has been utilised. While we can’t consider that an indication of the outstanding settlement costs it’s certainly pointing to a prudent approach

Goodness HH you are catching me up! I will have to buy more but we now own well over 1% between us although you average is going to be better then mine. With JB’s transfer of wealth to us small shareholders I wonder what the total holding of those posting here now represents?

Sorry Gazza this may have been the situation 10 months ago when Amigo announced that after consultations with a FCA they were amending their business model to seek out new business and would not normally lend to repeat borrowers. This proved to be ok as there is a lot of business out there but unfortunately the FCA or FOS then moved the goalposts again - read JB’s blog/tweets for the ludicrous and ultimately impossible to see how things changed and how Amigo rolled over and took it.
