Tend to agree with you. The RNS dated 28 November stated a short delay but won’t change the ‘irrevocable’ agreement between the parties dated 27th October.
If this is the case, I can’t understand what the delay is about, unless TMT are trying to squeeze even more out of the deal, in which case it wasn’t irrevocable after all and the statement in the RNS was wrong.
Haven’t seen this new date 4th March anywhere, but if this is the case its disappointing if it is holding up the production past November/December development period.
Yes, this new date is market sensitive information if it is holding up production this year and as such an RNS should have been issued, perhaps with a progress update to at least advise the shareholders that there is movement in the right direction.
TBH, I would expect this behaviour from TEK, as they seem to think their shareholders are just happy with the contribution to mankind and that they are not bothered about a financial return but thought the directors of this company would be normal and understood their duties to the shareholders – maybe being naïve, they are embarrassed having climbed into bed with TMT, who knows!
Personally, I’m sticking with it as it is a brilliant product and should do extremely well over the next few years, as long as they don’t ‘fan about’ for months/years and lose their market leading advantage!
Theboyg - At a guess, there must be someone in the background buying, snuffling away, but only wanting to pay the bare minimum – trouble is, as nobody seems to want to sell, and price creeping.
I suppose one of the new holders may sell another few lumps. Maybe it’s their business to make a quick 20% buck, short term and move on. Perhaps it’s not their business to stick around long term and make money from the actual business itself? Nothing wrong with that, each to their own..Who knows, maybe some late reporting coming up?
Saw your comments 31st December at the time – a nice cheery end to the year – TBH, I couldn’t be bothered to rise to the bait, poured myself another sherry instead and passed out!!
Happy New Year by the way!
Theboyg – My niece sent this to me, but when I watched it, for some reason I thought it was more appropriate to you!!
Have a great Christmas – definitely signing off now with every intent on over indulging in both food and drink!!

Looks very positive to me!
Even has a tiny smidge of downer for theboyg to relish and focus on with a moist towel :) eg ‘ The results for FY23 are marginally below management expectations at the EBITDA level ‘ (Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization is a measure of core corporate profitability)
But you are right that this marginal difference has already been priced in and 2024 is looking promising. GLA
Theboyg - TBH, I would like to buy more in this company, become a major shareholder, but due to my health, I am now avoiding this in any company as it requires posting notices at various thresholds, so I’m staying below 3% – If I had another seizure and was out of it, my family and even my accountant would struggle with the procedures/duties! My partner hardly knows what a share is – struggles with a cash ISA!
Oh, and a couple of other tips-
Don’t get too deeply involved in exact projected number of sales/margins at this stage. – its far to early to do that – take a few steps away look at the overall picture…Director’s character, ability etc.
Don’t react with the others when the price drops – by then it’s too late and all you up doing is crystalizing losses – I almost do the opposite, buy when most are selling – requires nerves, but mostly pays off.
As I said, its all a risk – so you must brace yourself for losses + missing out on opportunities – In the 90’s I was an assistant to a corporate lender, learning the trade if you like – I had to to call out to see customers to get documents signed etc as well as sit in on meetings. I can remember calling on one tiny customer on a partly build science park, with few buildings and mud everywhere on the roads. Also, being cross that my MGB was covered in mud after the visits – well, 30 years on that client is now one of the largest companies in the world – can’t give name as I guess I’m still bound by privacy even though retired, but a clue AZ. In hindsight, should have invested back then!!!
Oh, and I’m not trying to up sell this company either with a hidden agenda – simply reached a stage in my life where you want to pass on knowledge / experiences and help other avoid mistakes!! - GLA
Sounds like you’ve had an unlucky run! I was about opposite to you last year, making a 7-figure profit on just one of my shares – won’t name the company as I was a major shareholder and would prefer to keep my i/d anonymous.
Don’t be too down, things could be worse and still would prefer to be in your position! Having just retired after 35+ years in corporate lending I was diagnosed with a brain tumour which isn’t good and consultants not sure if I have 3 months or 10 years left…mind you, I don’t think anyone knows over a certain age, so I just carrying on!
Gathered as much information as I could on this company, weighed up the directors who seem to know their stuff, TMT may add some financial acumen. ..and then you simply have to place your bets – similar to corporate lending – I never got into trouble with the inspectors, as long as I had all the relevant information in front of me when I made the call. Sometimes would make a bad debt, but again if no bad debts, inspectors used to be on my back, saying I wasn’t taking enough risks!!
Yes, I’m a MM, have more money than I know what to do with, but not my health. So, no travelling as planned, vehicles were my passion – had 2 cars and 1,000cc motorbike, but DVLA have cancelled my license, so had to sell – so I get some thrills from trading high amounts!
So, who’s going to win out on this share between us – down the pan with your glass half empty stance, or a winner from my stance!!
We shall see – but trust me when you get down to brass tacks, health is the most important – so get the balance right – I was too focused on a good retirement – didn’t cross my mind that I would be bugg**ed within a few months of stopping work!!
So, message to all – make sure you get the balance right between enjoying life and saving – there’s no point of being the richest man in the graveyard!!! – Here endeth the lesson!!!
Have a good weekend!!!
Decided to do some gardening after all and do an impression of Captain Oates – Its certainly cold out there!!
Theboyg - Thanks for that – wasn’t expecting actual figures, but good to know!
So, if you are so heavily invested, why do you take every opportunity to talk down the share, almost willing it to go into the teens?
Is it a reverse phycology thing, almost hoping that the price will go the other way!
I aways try and give a balanced view, plus and negative points, leaving the reader to make their own mind up. Each to their own I suppose!
As I said before, nothing is guaranteed, but feel this one is a matter of patience - we shall see!!
Oh, and off they go again 4 x £1.89 deals – I’m confused dot com!!!
Have a great weekend GLA
I go away for a few days and the price drops – sounds like another topping up session! Just wished I’d left it a bit longer – maybe it is Santas silly season as the volumes were relatively light yesterday – unless TEK is at it again/ and will be reported later?
I simply don’t understand all these sells..what we know
1. There are plenty of orders for the units in the pipeline.
2. November and December were always going to be used to set up manufacturing/production of the units, so there wont be many sales, but New Year should be good.
3. To me (and I could be wrong) the extension of the posting offer document, simply sounds like a ticking off an overlooked admin disclosure. In the news section, same day, 28th November it clarified this saying ‘ It is currently in receipt of irrevocable undertakings for 16.8 million TMT Acquisition shares, representing 61% of shares.’ Unless there something wrong with my English, Irrevocable means : ‘not to be revoked or recalled; unable to be repealed or annulled; unalterable.’
In any case some of the TMT holders have sold, loads of form 8.3 issued – do people think these are all wrong? – if they are, they would need to buy them back – I don’t think so!
The only thing I don’t understand, being old fashioned is all these piddly buys and sells – one for 95p today – what’s that all about? – I assume it’s something to do with price manipulation by the youngsters on their mobile phones – maybe it works short term, who knows!!!
And the other question remains - is theboyg a shareholder, wants to be at the right price or what’s his/hers interest if not – they never make it clear!!
Anyway, almost couldn’t be ar*** to post and let people panic, but thought I would do a Corp Jones, from Dads Army!! In any case too cold for gardening!!
Or maybe I’ve missed something?
Buyer of 750K, already shareholder at 4.69%– According to Bloomberg - “Lombard Odier Asset Management (Europe) Limited operates as an investment management firm. The Company offers wealth and asset management services for private and institutional clients.” Incorporated 2009 – employing 135 according to December 2022 accounts. Refer you to Companies House for full accounts – A plus for me to see an established investment firm increasing their holding.
I don’t believe it! - yet another late reported sale from yesterday, reported this morning of 750k – no wonder the price tanked yesterday! Sit back and enjoy the white-knuckle ride I suppose – I thought filling my hot petrol leaf blower 10 minutes ago in the workshop was a thrill, but this almost matches it!!
I suspect they are doing some rejigging, and it will settle down over the coming weeks? Who knows what their strategy is and if there’s more to come – We will never know..they could even be setting off against off losses in another share for tax purposes for this tax year or company y/e – Anyway, my tip is to not watch too closely – go and do something else, like blasting leaves around the garden on full throttle!! - GLA
I see another two late reported sale yesterday 100k & 250k – seems like the TMTA boot sale continues for now? – maybe I'm wrong..another RNS re share take up coming up shortly?
Great comments from both Agricore & theboyg… definitely relevant for the coming months, but I think this recent drop is nothing to do with this – the option granting has already been priced in and if anything, flogging them off with these tiny margins should help, rather than when the price is double.
To me it’s seems to be a supply and demand matter, re huge volume of shares being dumped on the market in a short time… if you believe in this share, it’s a great time to top up for the brave…certainly I’ve been buying over the last week, but with 40 years trading under my belt, I have made a few mistakes in my time!! – hopefully it will pay off….to quote the army slogan of the 17th Lancers ‘Death or Glory’ – Lets hope its glory!!
I think you are right that things need time to settle, production to bed in and some hard figures needed. I have a feeling that one or two of the TMTA lot are exercising a few of their cheap options and flogging them off to make a fast buck – or maybe averaging down their remaining shares so they can enjoy the ride for free? – who knows – still think this will come good in a few months and just a case of sticking with it and then we will be celebrating!! Have a good weekend.
Reminds me of a half page advert in the Sunday Times for the newspaper back in the 70’s – pictured the charge of the Light Brigade in full flow, with a caption ‘Ever wished you’d be better informed’.
Just joking, personally I think it will settle in a few weeks once the variables disappear and bounce back to a degree – selling now will simply crystalise losses, but can understand if things are tight and you can’t take the risk – fingers crossed and all that!!
Getting a bit complex for us simple folk to understand without all the background facts! – perhaps they have been driving down Bells price to get a better deal, or perhaps TMT want to benefit from the overall global share price reductions as they are sought of cash buyers – we wont know until the end of the month if they go ahead – no doubt if the markets improve it will definitely go ahead?
I guess you and I have to decide to stay and enjoy the roller coaster ride – I'm sticking with it as I need a bit of excitement!!

Patience required I’m afraid!! – If you want something to do in the meantime, google some of the names on these forms 8.3 RNS – a reasonable line up of experienced/wealthy investors, some in the medical field – it gives me comfort that people who know these types of products have chucked their money in – nothing is for certain, but don’t panic Captain Mainwaring – not yet in any case!!!
