Yeah it did go a bit dull for a while and I nearly sold a few. Problem is the mentality these days is to look at stuff like EUA and BOIL and go 'I want a bit of that' and off you go to chase a rainbow. In the long term placing your dosh in a company run by an industry titan like Sorrell is probably going to be more rewarding (and less stressful). This will be paying dividends soon enough - who needs a busy chat board when you've got a fast growing company in a future proof market.

There should be more crumbs! I wasn't aware the marketing director Brian is ex Mellanox.. they have some pretty high calibre people at Ethernity and several job vacancies on their website. You wouldn't do all that if you had nothing to scale up for.

They will also be running on vapours in terms of cash position although can't raise under 1p. They are basically in a right pickle if the Ruyi deal doesn't come off (which is highly unlikely). Yes I do still hold a small position, but I am not hopeful it will ever give me a return.

Nice one TL - I'm glad it's not just me that gets that kind of pre-canned response to questions. When I asked them about the US contract at the AGM they said the client was extremely sensitive about releasing anything to the market - even if they didn't mention them by name the company didn't want Ethernity to release even vague information as people may guess who it was. It all adds to the difficulty of owning shares here as it's impossible to know if it's just ego talk or whether they are in fact the best solution in the market. A trading update would be nice, but I can't see them releasing one.

The app was developed by Future Processing - I imagine there would be an ongoing support contract with them for upgrades to the app and bug fixes etc.

MMs read these boards, it's possible they were trying to test the mettle of our recent large buyer dallo. A little bit more buying interest and they'll have this back up to where we were in no time - shares are not in large supply.

Still in a bit of a fog from a heavy weekend skiing but good to see the SP returning to the mid 40's again. So in effect an employee (possibly ex-employee?) sold 138k of share options last week and cratered the price which had the knock-on effect of scaring a couple of other PIs into selling.. does that just about cover it?

Not sure how long ago this was but I've not seen it before. Most confident I've ever seen David and some nice soundbites .. 'we get emails from telecoms asking to come up with solutions to resolve performance issues in their NFV deployment. Partners, telecoms are queuing up to work with us.. '

I like their marketing stuff for MWC - looks very confident this year and right on the money with the 5G UPF acceleration kit.

Plenty of benefits dallo, another one that not may AIM shares have is that all the private investors are in it for the long haul and not just a 25% trade - if you look back through this chat you'll see the same names (for example I have been in since the IPO, but am now in profit as bought plenty in the high teens and 20's). It's a complicated product in an opaque market so a lot of people just swerve it .. hopefully that will be to our benefit!
