Well it's NT to sell even 1k shares with Hargreaves, sadly yesterday's contract news excitement has already dried up!

MTN is a huge operator in Africa and a giant swathe of that continent will be able to access high speed broadband using Tarana's G1 product .. all with a bit of Ethernity kit in each tower. The Tarana Delaware is pure coincidence, that's where most US companies incorporate. Getting broadband to rural areas is huge and scalable and worth potentially millions in revs to Ethernity. It was my sons birthday today and he would definitely call it MEGA

Yep Cisco basically over the road. Was just getting excited at how many homes this G1 product could be in - Tarana's success is now aligned with Ethernity revenues so it's quite good fun speculating..

Correct Prime this is not SmartNIC business - the SoC is the FPGA with programming on it and will go into the base station on the tower. They cost a lot less than SmartNICs but the volumes here are the key. Take a look at Tarana's website -

"We’re putting the finishing touches on G1 now and have started commercial trials. We are deeply engaged with tier 1 service providers on multiple continents, but that’s all exciting news to come. Stay tuned . . ."

It's full ask to buy. If they'd have left this until tomorrow I could have done my bed and isa much cheaper.. lol

According to them it's even faster than 5g, so I imagine they'll experience very strong demand .. as you say this is tip of the iceberg stuff for a very impressive looking company

Also great to have the name out there. This was a pre-ipo deal so we never got to hear the name but to have worked so closely with them and to now be receiving significant orders is massive.

It's highly unlikely to be 5g imo. If they are looking to sell they won't do it on quiet weeks like this between easter / passover etc .. this is just bored private investors pulling money and the MMs taking the p*ss. It's usually the best time to take a few as hopefully a bit of volume and liquidity might come back once the new tax year starts.

Having said that, I've got 40k shares outside my ISA so this weakness makes it better for when I transfer them in!

Getting to the stage where I'm going to have to buy a few more. A 5 grand sale knocks 5% off the value of a company .. what a joke.
