Right of First Refusal: If Greatland receives a bona fide offer from a third party purchaser to farm-in or otherwise acquire all or part of its right, title and interest in the Remainder Tenements, the Company must first make an offer on the same terms to Newcrest. The right of first refusal will only apply and be binding on the parties (a) in respect of any area of Tenement E45/4701, during the Farm-In Period and for the term of the Joint Venture Agreement; and (b) in respect of Tenements E45/4512 and E45/4928, for the duration of the Farm-In Period.

I know there is no 3rd party but under the JV agreement Newcrest have to match any offer made by a 3rd party.

Telfer is running at a loss currently $3m. it’s costing them more to mine than the value of the gold being recovered that is why they are steaming ahead with Havieron.

It is in their interest to get their hands on that ore!

The answer to that is that newcrest have to match any offer from a 3rd party so i think Newcrest would be really keen to do a deal ASAP before somebody else moves in.

Newcrest have the massive advantage of having Telfer 45km away to process the ore which makes any 3rd party bid unlikely but not impossible.

You say buying GGP in the next 6 months and not havieron in the next 6 months?

What makes you think Newcrest want it all?

how can you put a value on GGP when most of the projects are in the initial stages and unproven?

Looking at deals that newcrest have completed in the past they have used cash plus shares in Newcrest ,would that be feasible in our case given the different stock markets?
