The market makers can value greatland gold at whatever price they want but i have my valuation and that valuation is a hell of a lot higher than theirs which means i’m holding for years to come.

For anybody that is interested simplywall st have increased their fair value estimate which now stands at £1.08 using info from our brokers Berenberg and Hannam.

Newcrest half yearly results are announced on the 11th Feb so we may get an update on progress at Havieron.

Just paid 40.2p and noticed the sells going through at the same price.
I’ve seen this so many times before where the share price drops on a daily basis just before a big announcement is due.

I’m ready for it this time and i just hope i’ve got my timing right where it has hit the bottom.

We have 200 staff working at H&W Belfast and we are recruiting 350 new workers for Appledore.

I’d like to see some positivity instead of doom and gloom all the time.

I thought i would give it a week or so to let the share price settle down a bit after the latest drilling update from Newcrest before checking on the simply wall st valuation.

Now you would think with all the upheaval that their valuation would reflect the recent share price fall but that is not the case.

their current up to date valuation is £1.03 and they claim to use information provided by our brokers.

My course of action going forward is to remain patient and let Newcrest get on with what they are doing and with a bit of luck the first ore from Havieron will be making it’s way to Telfer before the end of the year.

All i am going to say about the share price going forward is this.

In June 2018 i bought more shares in greatland gold paying 1.92p

18 months later the share price had dropped to 1.64p.

Did i panic and throw in the towel?

I bought 450,000 more shares.

As a long term holder i have been there when the share price has fallen but i concentrated on what we had discovered and chose to ignore the valuation placed on the company by market makers that were serving their own interests.

I am sitting firmly on my hands and i am seeing this through right until the very end.

This is not ramping this is exactly what i intend to do.

The market has not woken up to that RNS yet but it will soon enough.

It seems that any time between now and the 31st March the marine licence decision will be made and it seems to me that infa are sounding confident about a positive decision in our favour but until we get it confirmed i am not getting carried away.

I only received 40% of the extra shares that i applied for after applying for 5 times my open offer allowance and yesterday the funds were returned to my account so i used that cash to buy more infa shares on the open market.

After doing extensive research for the last 18 months and piling in when the share price was below 30p i was happy to now pay 45p for what i believe will turn out to be a superb investment

Given time we could easily grow into a billion pound company and i am delighted i will be there for every step of the journey.

One more week and Newcrest will have more drilling results from Havieron.

As disappointing as scally is it’s Havieron where our main focus should be.

Scally was never priced in but they sure are trying to price it out!

Don’t forget Berenberg upped the estimate to 12.5m oz so the 4.2m oz inferred gold is out of date.

The 12.5m oz will soon be out of date too!
